Blush n' Blow in Harrison, NY

i hate to even have to write this but i feel like it's only fair considering how poorly i was treated today. i had an appt this afternoon and as usual, i call and double check what i'm booked for to ensure i'm not wasting my time. it's about an hour compute for me. i am told i am only booked for a haircut and since it's with Nikki, she won't wash my hair. she only does dry cuts. i was immediately confused because i had booked a move up, color touch up & haircut. so i ask why i'm not booked anymore and i was told that they "didn't have time today" & can fit me in next week. so i agree for next week to make sure i'm provided all the services i booked. not even 15 minutes later i get a confirmation email saying my appt for today and next wednesday has been cancelled and i have been charged $152.00. i have been coming to Blush n' Blow for almost 2 years and never would've thought this would happen. when i called to ask what had happened, they said it's the "policy". i said even if i rescheduled the appt and Nikki told me "yes". very poor communication and absolutely no empathy on what they just did to me. wrongfully charged me for canceling because they "didn't have time" what haircuts don't come with a wash??? this is the ONLY place i've ever heard that from. anyway ladies, save your $$$ and find somewhere that actually CARES!

I keep coming back and I keep being satisfied. Jill is amazing at bringing sad dead hair back from the grave. One cut with Jill and I went from looking like "Radagast The Brown" to feeling like a Rock-N-Rolla. Healthy shining hair and my natural curl are back in the game. The skill, ability to truly listen, and sheer awesomeness of this salon never disappoints!

I am so happy that I found the right salon for me. I did my research on the Hand Tied Hair Extensions for awhile, came across Blush n' Blow and decided to schedule a consultation with Nikki. Mind you, this is a 90 minute drive for me and the fact that I continuously make this trip, you know they deliver quality service. Nikki thoroughly explained the process of the extensions for me and how maintenance works for them. They are definitely an investment but so worth it. Nikki then introduced me to Jill (the best colorist I have ever had do my hair)!! Jill really cares about the integrity of your hair and makes sure that you have the best color possible. Together Nikki and Jill make the best team in the hair game. Thank you ladies so much for helping me feel even more beautiful.

Just got back from an appointment with Nikki for hair extension installation and I am SOOO happy! I initially heard about blush n blow/ hand-tied hair extensions through my sister. She got them installed approx a month ago and I knew I had to do it too; they are game changing! It was my first time having hair extensions, and Nikki did an amazing job. She was super professional, and made sure to explain everything: from washing and maintaining the extensions, to styling them. Every step of the way, she made sure that I was happy with how my hair was looking. Nikki is really an expert! The atmosphere of the salon is also really nice and laid-back. Nikki and Jill are super friendly and easy to talk to. They made my 2-hour hair appointment go by quickly with their personable conversation! I will surely be returning and I am in love with my new style :)

Absolutely wonderful service and just so friendly. Nikki did my eye makeup for an event that I had the other night and it looked fantastic not only in person, but also in all the pictures. I've gone to blush n blow for my hair needs but I've never gone in for makeup. I'm so glad I tried it because I'll definitely be coming back for more!!
