Johnny is my guy! But Jessie is really awesome too. This is a no frills place. They are there to do your hair, and do it right. Johnny does a wonderful job job on my hair, so yeah me . The feel in this place is low, low, low. So you walk in and don't have to do a fashion show. Great video regarding that if that is what you like.
Blue Hair Studio is my favorite hair salon to go to in all of slo county. It's so easy to book appointments with their online booking system, there's no need to call to make an appointment which I love. The staff is phenomenal, they do a great job and set a great atmosphere. Danny is my go to girl she always does such great work. The price is such a good value, compared to other salons it's almost outrageous how low they charge for what you get, full haircut and blow out and amazing service. I can't recommend this place enough.
I've had my hair cut several times now by Sarah and she's done an awesome job. She listens and takes her time to give the best cut possible. And it's great that the salon is practically within walking distance ...no need to drive all the way to SLO for a haircut!
Im responding to my original post back in May and didn't get a response until over 2 months later. At the time of the cancellation of my appointment, it was very unprofessional as it was just a text message without a call like the first time which was a week prior. I didn't appreciate the text saying "here is couple of other people to call and make a last minute appointment". I figured Danny didn't have another sitter for her kids again and used Covid as an excuse which is the common one everyone uses nowadays. When I hear covid, there should be a test to prove it otherwise its just an excuse to not want to work & do their job. I never got a true apology from her from the 2 weeks of cancellations & she just left me hanging and very very stressed out to make appointments at the very last minute. I don't forget things but all i can say Danny really left a very bad taste in my mouth to ever make an appointment with this salon in general again.
Today was my first visit at Blur Hair Salon with Sara. I am so happy with my cut and highlights. Sara did exactly what I asked, and she is such an amazing, funny and kind person. Couldn't be happier with not only the final look but my experience with Sara. Definitely recommend her and this business!
