Stay away from Bliss Medical Hair Replacement Center in Providence.  She's the same person who ran Bliss Salon on Atwell's Avenue in Providence.  Christine is not a kind person she will verbally mistreat you.  If you tell her or even show her that she's done something wrong with your hair or any sort of dissatisfaction she has the audacity to raise her voice at you.  She's a very combative person before you know it you find yourself arguing with her.  Who in the world wants to continue to do business with a person like that!  She acts like she's doing you a favor when you're paying for it.  She has no level of respect and she's rude!   She doesn't care about her clients she's all about the money.  She's a wolf in sheep's clothing.  She talks sweet and nice to you at first, but she can't tame that unprofessionalism for too long.  She needs anger management.  She got loud with me twice.  The first time I let it slide but the second time I let her know about the type of person she is.  Her work is not precise and it's sloppy.  She doesn't care to take the time to pay attention to detail.  During my last appointment, she had me wait on her for 22 minutes while she was chit-chatting with her appointment prior to me.  Then to later rush me out of her chair looking like a mess.  I almost did not pay her for her service, but I wasn't going to stoop down to her level.  She got me for my money.  Her wigs are not worth it.  She makes you pay $900 for treatment and a wig that she doesn't even bother to bleach the knots.  You'd think she'd give impeccable service since you're paying her good money for it.  When I spoke up about the knots not being bleached, she charged me $70 dollars to bleach the knots and place the wig.  Plus, I believe in tipping.  I get home and remove the black paper band around my head to only notice that the knots still weren't bleached.  She got upset with me saying I'm accusing her of not bleaching the knots when I saw her doing it.  Yes, I saw it, but you didn't execute the assignment.  It was a big F for FAILURE.  At the beginning of her service, I had to put down a deposit of $450 and then pay the remainder of $450 after receiving the so-called scalp treatment to help my hair grow and wig.  This woman had the nerve to text me a week before my appointment for the other half of the money when that wasn't our agreement.  The nerve.  That's when I knew what I was dealing with unprofessionalism.  I told her I was not going to pay her anymore until the service was completed.  But, like a dummy, I still gave her a chance and she proved me to be right.  Like I said, to Christine you're only a dollar sign to her she doesn't care about her clients.  She also claims when she places the unit on your scalp that it will sit in place for 4 to 6 weeks.  My last visit was on 2.7.22, it's been a week and 4 days and for the past 3 days, I've had to reglue the unit a few times.  The first time it didn't last either because I didn't like the way the unit was taking up the majority of my forehead it was just above my eyebrows.  I don't care if she can make diamonds grow out of my head.  I will NEVER sit in her chair again.  You don't get blissed, it's more like "get gypped" her wigs are not customized properly to your head.  The hair quality is good, but the fitting is horrible.  I was bamboozled 100%.  She never processed my reimbursement either through my medical insurance, she pocketed my money instead.  Christine doesn't care about doing what's right for the customer.

Have gone twice and both time Christine, the owner had me waiting for over 30 minutes. While she texts beforehand it's after I've already arrived at the salon. Once she does arrive there's no recognition of her lateness.

I moved to Providence from Chicago recently and have been reluctant to trust anyone with my natural hair. Providence is seriously lacking when it comes to black owned businesses and etc so when I found this place I HAD to make an appointment.

I had my first silk press done and it was amazing, the process was relaxing, she was super thorough and it lasted almost 2 weeks. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because me and some other ppl were outside for 30 mins waiting for the stylist(s) to arrive. A text would of been nice!

I was new to the area and have been coming here for almost two years now. I've been getting my hair trimmed and styled here regularly and have noticed so much growth! Christine and her staff are great, and it is always a fun vibe at the salon! I also love that I am able to quickly and easily book my appointments online.
