BJ Grand Salon & Spa in Springfield, IL

I see Craig everytime I'm in Springfield. He is seriously talented! I've been getting facials consistently for 15 years and he is by far my best experience. He's knowledgeable on my skincare needs, great with extractions and I always leave feeling refreshed and so relaxed. He has a great touch with the face massage as well and listens to my skin concerns. I highly recommend checking him out. he's the best!

Bridal hair & make-up!! LOVED everything about my wedding (I was the bride) hair and make-up done here on Oct 7, 2023!!! Highly recommend Amy Ruble for hair and Marissa Watson for make-up!! They were wonderful. And my hair AND make-up lasted all day & night

I have had multiple different services done by multiple different technicians and to say that I am overjoyed would be an understatement! I am constantly blown away by not only the environment of the salon itself, but also by the skills of each different tech. It is very apparent that they take pride in their work and they enjoy what they're doing and that makes all the difference. They have some of the kindest and most talented individuals and it keeps me coming to them! It is very obvious that they care about their workers and clients and that truly makes all of the difference. I can't imagine going anywhere else :)

the facilities at BJ grand are amazing, from the color choices to products you can take home. the atmosphere is bustling for a reason, but it's always relaxing and light hearted! but the star of the show is definitely the stylists. i have been seeing Jenna since i was in the fifth grade and i am now a freshman in college! she's maintained my hair from long to short, naturally brown to blonde, and tons of fun fashion colors- not once have i ever been disappointed. she's extremely talented at her craft and is basically my therapist at this point. i look forward to my appointments every six weeks and sometimes move them up just so i can see her haha! a personal relationship with a stylist like this really makes bj grand feel like family. again, cannot recommend jenna enough for both cut and color- she seriously deserves to be famous for it. i'll attach some of her work on me here! go book an appointment!!!

Had Balayage done by Tareyn @the West location recently. She is nice and seemed to listen to me however the job was subpar. I felt like she listened but didn't really process what I was saying. I brought an inspiration picture and she looked at it and said "that's great but for less maintenance this is what we should do". I didn't care for the maintenance I just wanted the look on the picture I brought in. The ultimate color was just ok and I had to go back for a color correction. At the visit for the correction I again stated I was not happy with the color and again she didn't even offer to work with me for a long term plan. Im not a stubborn customer and I understand that going lighter can take time but it seemed as though she did not want was not interested in getting me where I wanted to be. On the flip side I had a facial with @Brittanie that was FANTASTIC and I consider this to be the redeeming quality of this place.
