This review is for HEATHER in the salon. My name is Joyce (writing this under my daughter's account) I asked you to cut SIX INCHES. You cut off over a foot. I asked for layers and rounded off at the bottom, you slaughtered my hair. You wouldnt even let me look in the mirror while you were "cutting my hair". You said you have 20 years of experience? No. You should never ever touch hair. I will never get my hair done at Ulta again. I have been going here since it opened in the crossing.

The employees here have always been helpful & go out of their way for me. I have been to other Ulta locations where this is definitely not the case, so I appreciate that the one in my home town is one of the best I have ever experienced.

I enjoy all products and deals and coupons at ulta, I shop there regularly. The only problem I ever have at the jackson Michigan Ulta Beauty is the employees. I always have to go searching for someone to help me and even then, they always seem to walk away and I have to find another person to help. I came in with a return the other day, the employee gave me a hard time about it until I requested a manager, who happened to be the person who told me I could bring the return in. Another instance I didn't have my ulta credit card the woman told me I wasn't allowed to manually input my info to pay. Yet again had to call a manager to help. Also made 2 separate purchases that came with free gifts, she didn't give me the second free gift, maybe she thought because it was the same sample that I don't get two, BUT I made 2 tart purchases so that means I should get 2 tart lipstick samples . Seems like a On going experience when I go there.

This place is TERRIBLE. Snobby. I went here after I had won a Visa gift card from work. I started shopping around and the next thing I know, someone who had a manager name tag and two of her minions/associates took it upon themselves to follow me around from aisle to aisle for 45 minutes and when I dared to ask questions, I was given horrible attitude & advice and purposely told the most expensive things. It was disturbing and very much not a relaxing experience to shop while being stalked by those awful girls. No class whatsoever--shame on you Ulta. Nasty rude cashiers as well--acting like your better than the customers? Not a good way to run a business. Never will I set foot in here again.

I have to take the time to express my joy and exceeding happiness and complete satisfaction with my experience getting my haircut at the Ulta in Jackson, MI. I grew up in California and moved to Michigan 10 years ago. I had my haircut by the same person for years in California since I was little- familiar and comfortable. I moved to Michigan at 20 years old and had gotten my haircut for the past 10 years and always had to correct the stylist and walk away settling with a sub-par cut. Tonight was the first time in over 10 years that I walked away the happiest I've ever been with my haircut. No correction, soft and relaxing experience yet efficient! I finally found my go-to salon! I only wish I sound Sidney sooner! She was amazing!!! Thank you Ulta!!
