Disappointing Experience at Ulta Beauty - Benefit Brow Bar

I recently had a scheduled appointment at Ulta Beauty for the Benefit Brow bar (Hendersonville, TN) with Sarah, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired.

My appointment was set for 2:30, and though I was a few minutes behind due to parking issues, the lack of professionalism and courtesy I encountered upon arrival was disheartening. When I approached the brow bar, Sarah was already with another customer. I waited patiently for her attention, but when I finally got a moment to inform her of my 2:30 appointment, she seemed uninterested and indifferent.

Instead of promptly addressing the situation, Sarah casually strolled over to the salon, presumably to confirm my appointment time. To my surprise, she returned to continue servicing the other customer without acknowledging my presence or offering any explanation. This lack of communication and disregard for my time was incredibly frustrating.

As Sarah continued to provide service to the other customer, she completely ignored me, not once apologizing for the delay or informing me of when she would be available. It was disheartening to witness her engage in casual conversation and laughter with the other customer, discussing personal matters such as her new boyfriend's cooking skills.

Feeling neglected and frustrated, I eventually left to seek out the manager around 3:10. I conveyed my experience to both the assistant manager and the male salon manager, expressing my dissatisfaction with the lack of professionalism and customer service. I made it clear that I would no longer be seeking services at this Ulta location.

The entire ordeal left me questioning the purpose of scheduling appointments if they are not going to be honored. Furthermore, I couldn't help but wonder why Ulta does not provide adequate training for its employees in terms of customer service. While I hesitate to label it as a race issue, the possibility cannot be ignored, given the stark difference in treatment between myself and the other customer.

In conclusion, my visit to Ulta Beauty's Benefit Brow bar was a disappointing and disheartening experience. I hope that Ulta takes customer feedback seriously and addresses the issues that marred what should have been a routine and enjoyable appointment.

I find your store to be the most unfriendly. I had gone in Sat. 9/9 to buy Madison hair color. I knew I had seen an email for $10 off for purchase over $50, but the girl at the register would not help me find the coupon and all I was able to find is a $3.50 off coupon which she told me that's all there is. Well, I get back home and see the coupon and others to use.

Coupons are to help those that shop at Ulta, but for the staff not to help you by informing customers of coupons is just wrong! I will not be going back. Terrible customer service!

Worst store ever! Awful managers that don't respect loyal customers. Been going for years but will NEVER go back. A lawsuit will be coming for discrimination.

The management and staff are very unprofessional and refused appointment without reason. I will not return to this store.

Extremely disappointed. I'm still in the beginning stages of learning make up products and how to properly use them. I had a friend recommend the Ulta beauty brand cat eye stamp and was really looking forward to getting it and hearing some tips from the associates about how to use it as well as what products pair well with it for the look I was desiring. I showed the associate who was sitting on the floor stocking a shelf a picture of it and asked for help finding it. She pointed to the wall and said the Ulta beauty products were on that wall and I said I wasn't seeing it. She just said "uh" and didn't offer any help or get up or show me anything or offer any assistance other than pointing to a wall. After about 20 minutes of wandering a section aimlessly I finally found it in a package with other things and unfortunately settled with buying that since no associates were helpful. I didn't get any of the other products I was hoping to because there was no one to help me with direction or recommendations. This was such a different experience from Sephora stores. Very upsetting.
