Bella Nails in Wilmington, DE

Visited for the first time today and will never go back. The color is great but the shape of my nail is wrong and they are not even on either hand they do not match at all. I always get dip powder and Im norm at the salon for an hour, I was in and out in 30 minutes. I will not be going back they look and feel so fake and its my actual nail.

Just had a pedicure. She was very friendly and nice at first. When she asked me if I wanted a spa pedicure ICE said no just a regular pedicure will be fine. That's when her attitude changed for some reason than 10 minutes later when she went to paint my toes, I looked at her and said oh you're already done? I said, did you even file my toenails because they're all crooked. She said yes, from where you're sitting they look different then where I'm sitting, and then she proceeded to hand me a nail file and tell me I can do it myself. Which I did now as I'm leaving and I'm looking down at my toenails. It looks like my child gave me a pedicure. That's the last time I will go there.

You would think that a customer that has been coming here for months would be treated in a respectable manner. I've been using the same person as well. I even went back to her after she came back from an extended leave. I should have stayed with the person I was going to in her absence. Today, I could see that the polish I've been using is now going on clumpy. It even had a air bubble in one. I stopped her so that she could see. She pretended not to see it and then became very defensive. She was very rude about it. I wasn't rude to her. I've been going to her and was always ok with the outcome so I don't understand all the hostility. She got up and left. Someone else had to finish my nails.

On top of all that, no one came over to say anything. I've been getting my nails done every 2 to 3 weeks for many years. Some of the workers at these nail salons can be very rude when you point out flaws. This didn't really even seem to be her fault. It could have been the polish but of course, you can't say anything is wrong or they will get mad like they are paying you instead of you paying them. They also act like there is not a nail salon every block or so. They way she acted you would think she was 10 with a temper tantrum and the girl at the desk was no better. She said what do you want me to do about it. I wanted you to have better customer service but I guess that is too much to ask.  

I will take my business elsewhere as this place showed no care about it whatsoever. This is how much they value your business. They don't. Next time this happens at one of these salons, I am walking out as soon as it occurs without paying. I am sick of their disrepectful manner and bad attitude.

P.S. Her name is Mindy. She has a horrible attitude. Even though, I haven't had a problem with how my nails turned out previously, you can see that she doesn't take well to you telling how you want your nails. She acts like it is an annoyance that you say anything. I should have stayed with Linda, the person who was doing it while Mindy was away. Linda was always pleasant the entire time.

WOW-Bella has changed and it's all for the better. Years ago I went to Bella and it was the usual run-of-the-mill nail salon in this area. Today I decided to see what it looked like and was pleasantly surprised to find an updated, modern, sleek salon.
I did not have an appointment and was told there would be a 15 minute wait. In fact I waited less than 10 minutes. The technician gave her name as Kimberly. Like many of the technicians, she appears to be a little older which I equate to more experienced.  I emphasized to her that I like my nails to be as thin as possible, the less acrylic the better. She said she would do the same and she did. Now days it is becoming difficult to get a simple acrylic fill with regular polish. She did a very good job and she did it quickly.
I made an another appointment for 2 weeks from today and if each visit was like today's, I will continue doing that.

This nail place is large and clean.  It is next to my favorite pizza place.  They have a very good selection of color choices.  The staff is very nice and they give you socks when it is cold and you are getting a pedicure.  Be prepared for the music is always skipping and it annoys me.  I believe it takes away from the experience.  If you pay cash it is cheaper - they don't take AMEX.  I would give five stars if the music issue was corrected.
