As far as learning, it's fine.  You just have to deal with all the cussing and inappropriate talking from the students and instructors.  They don't care if there is a customer there or not.  Don't take children there if you don't want them to get an education in sexual language and other topics.  Also they will charge students & clients EVERYTHING.  Even if it didn't happen.  If you clock in 30 seconds late, you will have to pay to get it removed.  If you do anything remotely wrong, they will charge you to get it removed from your "record".  OH and don't get me started on the Financial Aid guy.  He has NO IDEA what he's doing.  He's rude, doesn't speak clearly and will bold face lie to you.  He is so uninformed, if he deviates from his "script" you will totally throw him off.  It may be the mumbling he does but it's still a lie.  Do not have questions for him.  He can't answer them.  He'll tell you that you HAVE to do a student loan unless you pay in full.  He'll say the loan is interest free and you won't owe anything until 6 months after you graduate.  LIE.  It starts accruing interest 4 months before you graduate.  So by the time your six months rolls around, you've accrued over $500 more on the loan.  Get funding from another source.  DO NOT GO THROUGH THE SCHOOL.  They rip you off as much as you can as a student and client.

Came in to get a shellac pedicure. My friend who I was with suggested coming here because she's had good experiences in the past with getting her hair done. I had shellac previously before and had to get them soaked off. At the regular nail salon it's $5-10 for a gel/shellac soak off which takes about 10 minutes. There wasn't much advice mentioned or experience and the girls who were doing me and my friend's nails seemed like they have never gotten or learned about a pedicure in their lives. It took my girl practically an hour and a half just to get my nail polish off and afterwards, I didn't even get my nails painted because I had to leave for my friend's graduation who I was with. While checking out the lady at the front told me it was going to be $27 for the gel soak off. Obviously the person making the prices has NO experience in nail salon prices and decided to throw out a random number. I told her it's $5 at the salon and the receptionist responded with, "I don't make the prices and it takes a long time to remove it." I responded with, "It takes 10 minutes at the salon." If anything, I shouldn't have to pay extra because there was barely anyone overseeing your student and she wasn't experienced whatsoever in what she was doing. I asked to speak to a manager and they dropped it down to $8 which I reluctantly said okay. The receptionist was nice when we came in but her attitude quickly changed when I complained about how outrageous that price was. Not professional. I feel bad for the women who spend thousands of dollars to go there to learn and just get thrown in the deep end with something no one had taught them how to do.

Furthermore, the girl doing my friend's nails announced that she was basically disgusted by my friend's feet which aren't bad at all. She said, "I'm literally worried about your health." To my friend who had a piece of lint under her toenail from her socks. She then presumed to make a sound of disgust while removing the lint from my friend's toenail. On top of that, the only thing she did was a polish change. They didn't scrub her callus or anything which they charged her $22 for. I told her she shouldn't have paid and should've just walked out but she is too nice in my opinion. Beyond livid and will never go here again.
