Belashed in Salt Lake City, UT

I went to this salon every 2-4 weeks for nearly 9 years. I've referred dozens of people & I've always spoken highly of the work they do. But it's important that people & friends that I have who go here, know how I was treated when a salon wants to act like they aren't as replaceable as they treat their clients.
I found out I was miscarrying my baby the day before my appointment. I didn't contact Belashed right away because it honestly wasn't a priority, for obvious reasons. I contacted them the next morning (the day of my appointment) letting them know I wouldn't be able to make it because I had to go in for emergency surgery to have the baby taken out. I woke up from that surgery to a text message from Belashed, letting me know that they would be charging me a cancellation fee because they had waived the fee previously- something I did not ask them to do. (I had to reschedule an appointment several weeks prior, due to having COVID) I voiced my frustration with this because I had absolutely no control over the situation. I would have much rather NOT have been in the position that I was in. I didn't CHOOSE to miscarry my child. If this doesn't speak VOLUMES about the type of person that runs this salon, then I don't know what does. I was then met with passive aggressive posts on Instagram regarding clients who don't complain about their late cancellation fees (which wasn't a thing I did, prior to this event. Apparently they really rely on these fees) & when I stood up for myself- a screen shot of a message from me stating that I had had a miscarriage was posted to the owners Instagram story. Needless to say, I won't be returning. I'll be doing the opposite of referring anyone to this place, & I will be enjoying my lashes from a salon with a MUCH better environment, a better attitude & with an owner who contains empathy & compassion, & knows how to treat any person like a human being.

Very unprofessional business. They charged a cancellation fee for a woman that missed her appointment due to going into emergency surgery after she had a miscarriage. This absolutely disgusts me. Take your business elsewhere.

I originally scheduled a volume lash fill last week and spoke with the manager, I had to cancel a couple days before the appointment date due to being unavailable. I tried to reschedule through the online scheduling site Vagaro and through the receptionist text service. The receptionist said she couldn't reschedule me till the end of the month and was unprofessional and very rude. She also mentioned that the online schedule site was incorrect and that I couldn't schedule on there. She obviously couldn't do her job. All I wanted was a volume fill. I am very disappointed with this business and do not recommend it to anyone.

I love this place! I got my first lash extensions while visiting Utah and after moving to SLC, made it a priority to come back. The salon is adorable and the ladies do an amazing job. They are also friendly, helpful and accommodating to get exactly what you want.  I've had both Amy and Vanessa, and they both did an incredible job. I get compliments left and right (even during Zoom calls.) Thank you, belashed!

Love the vibe and girls who work here.  My daughter and I both go here, amazing work.  They all do amazing work!  Gorgeous salon, comfortable chairs, relaxing, and always leave feeling refreshed and happy!!
