Beauty Garden Salon & Spa in Stockton, CA

The owner nancy is horrible, rude, and unprofessional. She is the worst of the worst. I do not recommend anyone going to this place. If you know this lady outside of work, at work, or even just randomly, you will never want her to service you for her benefits ever again. She talks down on other salons and even talks down on the nail shop next to her shop. Very snobby and thinks her $hit don't stink. Just a warning if you decide to get serviced there.

Beware!!! I agree with others who think the owner, Nancy is VERY unprofessional and rude. I was very dissapointed with the way I was treated when I arrived for my facial. I walked out & didn't even redeem my Groupon. I didn't care that I got a deal. I would rather pay $100 plus for a facial from a person who is pleasant, groomed & friendly!!! Do not waste your money buying a Groupon deal. Just go to Ulta at the mall for same treatment.

I'm going to give Beauty Garden a good and needs to work on it review. I agree Nancy could work on her customer service skills, and take a few lessons in 'just because you think it, doesn't mean you say it'. Yes her salon does lack the whole spa atmosphere, but frankly, some of the spas I've been in that offer the whole experience thing, lack truly talented estheticians. I believe Nancy means well with the questions, but may not be reading her clients desire to share personal information. I've never notice her salon being dirty, so I do not agree with that review, or the one about not receiving a massage during the facial. On the positive side, Nancy is a truly talented Esthetician, my skin always looks wonderful after her treatments, she's given me great advice on natural skin care treatments. I've gone to her a number of times and I find that her skill level superior to other facials I have received in the past. She always made very positive remarks about my skin and very helpful on providing tips on skin care. She has performed extractions on me, that have helped a troubled area heal with no scar, it was not a comfortable, but the results have been excellent. My skin looks younger after her treatments, and that is why I'm going to Nancy, and why I will continuing using her services. I do hope she takes some of the customer service issues to heart and makes some changes so that her business does thrive.

I've traveled to many places around the world and tried many spas and salons. I've never had a TERRIBLE experience in a spa/salon until now. My sister bought a great deal for an organic facial from Groupon. She bought two "groupons" so that we can experience a facial together, unfortunately this place does not do simultaneous facials. Here's a breakdown of my HORRIBLE spa experience: My friend and I walked through the door and no one greeted us. They just looked at us gawking, then I guess the assistant just went back to her cell phone. We had to say something first and introduced ourselves first. My friend went first. While waiting the esthetician came out to ask us what kind of facial we bought from Groupon. In my head I was like "I told you when we made the appointment." Then she had the nerve to tell me that my friend's face "needs help." Facial experience: not RELAXING at all!! Hurts like HELL. Esthetician talks too much and ask personal questions. She doesn't like black people so if you're black don't even bother going here. Doesn't massage but just puts a whole bunch of oil on you while chemicals work on your face. Don't bother to buy a Groupon deal because it's not worth the experience. Workers are NOT professional and this place is a shame to be in the Morada area. GHETTO (Owner needs to invest and enroll in Interpersonal Communication 101)

this REVIEW is for FACIAL SERVICE ONLY! I was already not impressed when my aesthetician showed up 7 minutes late and greeted me with the wrong name. She also didn't even introduce herself and started the session right without explaining any of the procedures or anything. Why even bother asking if it's my first time getting my facial then? Right when I laid down, she asked me if I got my eyebrows tattooed. I told her that I did and she asked....."Why?" I really didn't know what to say besides "Because I wanted to?" That was only the beginning! During my session, she kept asking me rude and personal questions like "What do your parents do?" "How much does your father make?" "Did you get a cut on your eye? They look uneven" etc etc. I had to try really to hold my tongue to not be rude and tell her to shut up. I got my pimples extracted during my session. AFTER she got done, she told me that she does not give massages because the bacteria might spread and worsen my acne. Wtf? isn't she supposed to tell me before so I can decide whether I want a massage or get extraction? I ended up getting a hand massage instead because it was too late to do anything anyways. Seriously, it lasted 2 minutes for both hands. utter BS. She didn't leave the room much except when she put the mask on me. However, she took her time between each procedures. She also finished my session exactly at the scheduled end time without making up for 7 minutes lost because she was late. Overall, I had such a horrible experience. I came here to relax but rather I got offended by her unprofessional attitude and nosy questions. Service was not that great either. I am never coming back nor recommending place to anyone ever!
