BE Salon in Boston, MA

Tried for the first time a few months back upon recommendation from different sources. Reservation was a hiccup as I left messages in English and Mandarin on different days of the week, without a callback. Went on their website to make an online inquiry, still nothing. On the fateful day, thought to call one last time, and miraculously, the line connected and I was finally able to confirm a date and time. Due to pandemic, they only booked one patron in one time slot. There was Betty the stylist, and an assistant (sorry forgot name). The place is nicely decorated, and kept clean. It was very comfortable to be in there. The reason why they deserve 5 stars is the service. Since this was my first time, we chatted a bit about my desired result. I'm not always the best communicator, so I showed some pics along with my own descriptions, which I soon contradicted after realizing I didn't mean exactly what i said. Betty listened attentively, offered professional advices, and went with my final request. The result... 110% happy with what I got. They say the true skills show after you've washed your hair and slept in it for a few days. I did, and it was still great with zero styling and products. Highly recommend -- except that now this is going to make securing an appointment even more challenging!

I was having a bad day so I thought it'd be nice to get my haircut... I was so wrong... I was put in the back corner near the bathroom and jackets. The haircut was not great and I left with uneven pieces. I tried to get it fixed but after the third attempt I decided to go home. He tried his best but I really was upset with the whole situation and not leaving with something I was happy with and having to settle.

Allen is amazing! I just told him I want a short haircut, and having the rest of my hair cut for donation. He did outstanding job, and I can't be happier. Price is very reasonable. Only another customer and I at a time, and mask is required. Thank you Allen!

I had possibly one of the worst haircuts ever here. My hair is uneven and looks terrible on the top. He thinned it at the top and cut chunks of it randomly. They washed my hair and all but the haircut was god awful. I would not recommend anyone to ever come here as they do a terrible job.

I had such an awesome experience at BE Salon! I came in for a haircut with Betty and it was probably one of the best haircuts I've gotten. The products they used at the salon to wash my hair smelled quite nice and brought a nice shine to my hair. While cutting my hair, Betty was super attentive and would give me tips on how to style and maintain my hair. She's really skilled at what she does and my hair looks amazing. And how can you beat $45 for a wash, dry, and stellar haircut??? Definitely my new go-to hair salon!! Thanks, Betty!
