Basically you pay $90 to soak your toes, and have them spray on some almond oil to your fingers! Oh you get a "complementary" drink. If you want polish it's an additional $10 for toes and $10 for fingers. I walked out of there with feet that had been soaked, gel polished but not massage or lotion after so they were uncomfortably dry and still rough!!!
Then for the toes...she barely filed them. Put on some gel. Didn't cure them all the way! Never touched my cuticles. I pay to have a manicure to have my cuticles and nail beds addressed!!!
Great ambience but would never go back. A rip off for the price. So many other nail places will take the time to really smooth your feet and address your cuticles AND they'll give you a nice hand/foot massage! Sorry this place is a definite pass for us!
My wife and I have been here a few times now. We like the vibe here (and in The Basement overall) and how relaxed and laid back everyone is.
Maria and Liz are the two that take care of us and they both always do a great job. They're both friendly and good at their jobs (even though they're both keep teaming up with my wife to try to put color on my nails...not happening. Lol).
It's a shame The Basement hasn't gotten the love we feel it deserves. If you're a local, get out and support the businesses in there. If you're visiting, consider spending some of your vacation dollars here as well. We need more local business like that.
Good job on two pedicures there. Getting an appointment is a bit tricky as their listings online don't seem to match their posted hours, so I'd call. Both techs were good, efficient, and friendly, prices are reasonable. Vibe is hipster, but hell, you can't have it all.
