Well....I will not be visiting this Balance Med Spa again. Personally, I have been to a lot of spa's. They tell you to arrive 15 minutes early. Why???? When you walk in, there is not a warm greeting. Someone from one of the salon chairs, asked if I could be helped. Replied with I have an appointment for lash extensions. The woman replied with...oh just go through the door and have a seat there. Someone will get with you. So, I did. About 20+ minutes later a woman comes out, does not introduce herself. Welcomes me and hands me a towel. Shows me to the restroom, instructs me to wash my lashes and gives me instructions on where to come when I'm finished. I get on the table, she asks do I want glam or regular. Now, she did not ask what type of lash I wanted. To make a long story short. I paid over 200.00 for lash extensions that I could have gone to Walmart purchased and put on myself. That is al.l

My husband got me a gift certificate for my birthday from this place for a one hour massage, pedicure and hair cut. The overall experience was nice but the next day when I woke up I had an excruciating pain in my elbow which turned out to be a torn tendon. While getting my massage, the lady had me doing these stretches and apparently she tore a tendon in my elbow (tennis elbow). It's been 3 weeks and the pain hasn't gotten any better. Unfortunately, I signed a waiver before the massage so I'm on my own dealing with this injury.

Some talented people but unfortunately the most unpleasant experience with a rude, self important receptionist. Interrupted my services to inform myself and the lash technician that it was taking too long. Continued to lecture me at check out " about her employee and her time management" My question is why is the customer responsible for how long a service takes especially when it is a correction? I was in the day before to show them what needed corrected and they selected the time for the appointment. Lashes should last more than 4 days. No customer service whatsoever. Expectation was for me to except subpar remediation ofthe lash service and leave with it incomplete. Would not recommend.
