Backstage Salon in Olmsted Falls, OH

I was there last week is why I am looking for help with what owner Lisa did to my hair. I should of known better than to try that place (Backstage Salon) after 3 other failed events. I figured when I went in and talked to Lisa that she knew what I wanted and could do it. She gave me a poodle haircut and I can't even look at it in the mirror. That was last Thursday and i can't wait to have someone fix it. I talked to her about it and at first made an appointment for her to fix it. Then I called her and told her to cancel the appointments that I could not trust her to fix it. I took in pictures to show her what I wanted, a simple layered cut and perm. She did not even apologies or offer any refund. I should of known better as I had three other hair stylist there over a year ago and told myself never to go back, but I did. The first time I went I got a nice cut, but I walked in with a lite color blond hair and was there 5 hours almost waiting for her to fix the dark brown she colored my hair, this was not Lisa. Second time wasn't good either. Third time the girl styling my hair burnt my side temple with the curling iron and did not even know it until I had to pull away. When I told her she burned me she said where? She went to the back to get some ointment and put it on me where it wasn't burned. She was so busy talking to someone when she burned me that she didn't even notice what she was doing. So if your looking for a good haircut, color, or style, do yourself a favor and take it from me, don't go to Backstage Salon.

I have been going to Lisa for over 16 years she is a true professional! I don't let anyone else touch my hair. As a busy mom getting my hair done is the one form of pampering I do just for me. I anticipate going to see Lisa, she makes me feel calm and I get to destress for a few hours while getting a new look. They charge reasonable prices for their services and have a great selection of professional hair products to choose from for every type of hair. When I started going to see Lisa all of those years ago my hair was wild and very unhealthy. I love how my hair is now I only ever use products from her salon on mine and my son's hair! My hair has never been healthier in my life than when I started going to see Lisa! I would follow her anywhere!

Backstage is a very warm and feel good environment. Very generous hospitality. There work is always satisfactory. Thank you to all the staff at backstage salon.

Not impressed. Scheduled two trims basically and it took over an hour. She was giving someone a perm when we walked in for our 11am appointment. My youngest didn't get started until 11:30. Then she puts my 13 year old in the chair and informed us she'd be right back, she was going to smoke. Seriously?! Then she's smoking out from of the shop. The owner goes to the bank, comes back, sits on her phone while my daughter is still waiting for her haircut. Doesn't offer to do the cut. Doesn't tell the other lady to do the cut ASAP. Nothing. Way unprofessional at this "salon." Guess we will continue to look for a salon in our area.
