I would give more stars if I could ! This is a family owned business and run by a husband and wife team. I could not have been happier with my mani (dip) and pedi. Tammy was over the top kind, sweet and funny. She picked out my color for me and it's perfect. The quality of my mani/pedi is the best I have had since I moved here 2 years ago. I promise you will not be disappointed! Run, don't walk to Aurora Nails!
I really wanted to like this place because their prices are lower than most other shops in the area. I tried them out for a pedicure and a dip manicure. From the moment I sat down I should have known I was in for an experience that was not pleasant. The husband and wife team/owners were the only people working and there was me and two other women in the shop, one getting a pedicure and one sitting at a mani station soaking off nails. I sat for my pedicure and the wife (who is EXTREMELY KIND) gave me a kitchen bowl of 'acetone' to put my hands in to soak off my old dip manicure. My pedicure took almost an hour, during which both me and the customer next to me said ouch about how rough we were being treated more than once and we were told that it needs to be painful for it to look good, that's a first for me. After my pedi was done I sat for another 10-15 minutes STILL soaking my hands in the fake acetone because they couldn't get my nails off, likely because it wasn't actual acetone. When they finally managed to scrape my old mani off and I got my new dip mani, the husband didn't even file to shape my nails at all so they looked horrible. Only redeeming quality of this place is how nice they are but given my one experience I will not be going back here.
This is hands down THE BEST place to come get your nails done. Tammy and Martin (husband and wife co-owners) have become like extended family to us. We've tried numerous nail salons and finally found our spot about a year ago. Great prices, friendly environment and great nail talent and expertise. I always had a hard time justifying spending any amount of money on nails for myself but came in with my daughter once and was sold. This is a place I will gladly spend my money. They always take their time, do a great job, and remember us every time we come in.
This place does an incredible job! They are careful not to hurt your real nails (unlike a lot of other places close by) and they have attention to detail. The dip I just got done was perfect! Will be going back regularly!
