After seeing a new stylist somewhere else and her doing a hack job on my hair I was absolutely devastated. The lady gave me the worst, most uneven layers I have ever seen and I thought I was going to have to get it cut way shorter than I wanted just to fix it. My mom recommended I see Haley Timm @ Artisan Hair Studio. Knowing how picky my mom can be with her hair, I trusted her and made the appointment. Haley is awesome! She was able to blend the layers without compromising the length too much. I was so impressed I went back for a color (trying to go from dark brown to baylage blonde). Haley is fun, young and really knows her hair S*. Pretty much my whole family goes to her now! The only one who doesn't is my dad... but he doesn't really have hair :p My two brothers love their stylish cuts. The youngest drives to town from Whitewater, just to get his hair cut! I recommend Haley Timm 100%!
Reasonable price but premium quality. If you want a bang definitely find Ellen! She had bangs for years and knows how to cut layers and add in texture. As an Asian with supper puffy hair and huge amount of hair plus two cowlicks right in front I haven't found any hair stylist being able or agree to cut my bang until Ellen. Now first time in my life I can have bang and not look like I cut it myself!
This review is WAY overdue since I've been going to Artisan Hair Studio since it opened, but after my latest, and once again fantastic experience there, I felt it was time to tell the world about this wonderful salon. The staff are helpful, friendly, and incredibly good at what they do. They listen to what the client wants and deliver. I've never seen anyone leave after an appointment without a smile on their face and a big thank you to the staff. I get perfect color and the exact haircut I want every time. Artisan also does nails, massages, and carries products I love from makeup to a line of products for babies that are organic and healthy. The decor is relaxing and beautiful and I feel like I've had a getaway at a spa, every time I go there. I recommend this hair salon to everyone, regardless of your age or what kind of look you're going for. They can do any kind of cut you want and I've never been happier with my hair ( and believe me, I've had some really bad experiences at other salons). All of the stylists are excellent so you can't go wrong. I get compliments every time!
My son and I had the most wonderful time at Artisan. My new cut (11 inches for Locks of Love, YAY!) and color have gotten lots of compliments. Crystal is the greatest and very talented! I had an idea and she had suggestions to make my color and style even better!
