I recommend this salon. I badly needed a haircut to correct a haircut that I did myself. My hair was looking crazy. I read reviews and decided to try this salon. Martha gave me an excellent cut and style. If you're looking to try a different salon from where you're going now, this would be a fine choice.

This man has no idea how to do hair! There was hair all over the floor when I got there. I have had a curly hair mohawk for almost a year now, and I asked him to trim the sides, fade it into the Mohawk, and cut the split ends... He cut it really short right up to the mohawk line, making my head look too rounded. He messed up the mohawk line in the back, and then made it worse when I asked him to fix it. There was no paste or wax, only a gel/hair spray mix that is just awful! And the attachment fell off the razor at one point and he didn't notice and cut a line into the side of my head! He kept talking, over-explaining himself, and incessantly apologizing for me being upset, without having the slightest clue how to cut my hair! Especially if you are a guy, don't go to this place!

Art & Martha are wonderful hair designers. I went to Art back in the 90's when I lived here, and am back today after 13 years of living out of town. Art always amazed me at how quickly he could get my hair done. I'm always happy with it. Very reasonably priced. I was stunned.

I went to get my hair done for my wedding on the 25th of May 2013, and though Martha (the woman who worked on my mother's hair) did a FANTASTIC job for a fair price, I was NOT pleased with the job done by Rosa. Yes, the hair looked good, but as soon as I stepped outside, my hair fell flat. She used a few sprits of wet hair spray per curl and called it good. I went in for an UP-DO and came out with simple curls and a "poof"... I could have done that for free and made it last longer than she did. She was a fantastic person, and wish her vision of an up-do had been a little more exciting. $55 for curls that didn't stay... I wish I could have had a better experience... I might give it another try, but definitly won't go back for any Up-Dos again.

Recently visited for a haircut for myself and my son. Art did mine, his daughter cut my son's hair. Maybe it was because it was the week before school started, but it was very chaotic inside. And not terribly clean, the floor was covered in hair. My haircut was interrupted several times while Art went to go tend to something or someone. This resulted in a longer than expected stay. It also resulted in me having to coach him on my haircut. When all was said and done for me, the hair came out ok but it seemed to take way to much effort on my part to get it there. I'm used to a Salon cut but I could have had similar results for less at Supercuts I'm sure. My son's haircut did not turn out so well either. Possibly because she was not used to cutting a younger kid's hair, or possibly because her own daughter was there and interrupted her a couple times. Uneven layers and it looked terrible after just one week. At the end of the day, I'm not sure why this place gets the good reviews (other than the free sodas?). We won't be back.
