Consistently good service. The owner is wonderful. The environment is peaceful and clean. I appreciate that she plays Christian music.

I'd like to stay away from beauty salons. However, Arelis Beauty Services offers excellent care. Arelis is a seasoned professional, performed a marvelous haircut, impressive hair color and highlights. She transformed my hair! I would not go anywhere else.

First time here. The hair service was amazing! Nails service could be better. Overall, good experience. Will come again.

Pros: Clean, Cares about customers, friendly. Cons: A little too forceful with her opinions Doesn't listen to customer preferences Prioritizes hair presentation over health of hair Very rough with scalps Situation: Came in with tangled hair, needed a wash, deep Conditioning, trim & blowout Outcome: After visit, Half the thickness of my hair was gone, left in excruciating pain, left with excessive heat applied, a flat iron style (which I repeatedly told her not to do), and paying $20 more than she originally told it'll cost. I'm guessing additions change was for the flat iron which I told her several times I don't want but she ended up doing anyways. Issues: 1. Though my hair was tangled when I walked in, instead of immediately detangling it, she proceeded to washing it (and movements during washing, further entangled hair & rough treatment during washing caused some pain), deep conditioning it (dryer and everything), then after all that, started to comb through to detangle. This made no sense. 2. Not generous with product application. She said she applied a detangler on hair, heat protectant etc but truth is, she either didn't or did so little to be noticeable. For thick curly 4C hair, applying a generous amount is imperative so it can soak into the hair. Yet she didn't seem to understand that? 3. Blowout was equally as painful. I kept asking if she applied water & heat protectant cos it too dry for the amount of heat she passed on it. This was painful as well. The heat on my scalp. Also, why the high heat? Conclusion; I overpaid for a excruciatingly painful experience and service symbolizing limited skill in varying hair types despite claiming to have 30 years of experience. The staff is nice though.

I have been coming here for 12 years and I am in love with this salon. It is tidy, organized, and the lady's know what they're doing and what's best for you hair. I really recommend coming here if you know what's best for your hair.
