Hairspray Beauty lounge is great! Ellie has done my hair a few times now, and it always turns out so cute- she does such an awesome job! It is affordable and quality hair care :-) I will definitely recommend Hairspray to my friends and family.

alexys has done my hair at least a dozen times over the last 2 years. i like her as a stylist and a person. i really enjoy my time with her which is important for me when finding a stylist. i have seen her do amazing trendy cuts and wild colors and i am so impressed. i myself am a classic blonde and she nails it. i bounce around a few salons and she always matches the last color perfectly and i leave happy. call ahead though, she books up fast.

I wanted to get a bright color in my hair but wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. Called and talked to the receptionist who was very helpful and said she would find the right stylist for the job. I got connected with Ellie Tognozzi and she did a great job. She showed me photos of her ideas and I told her about mine, and together we came up with something that worked out great for me. I also got an A-Line cut that came out great. Really happy with my experience.

I just want to update my review for Hairspray. I am still a regular there and although I miss Kristy terribly, I knew I could not go wrong with any of the stylists. I see Angela now and she is just wonderful. I love how open and funny she is and best of all, my haircuts, color and highlights are exactly what I envision and come out perfect every time. The girls are as welcoming as they always have been which is why I will always go back. I would recommend any of them. Being unemployed for 2 years, you might wonder why I don't go to the $18 dollar places. Hairspray is why. Their prices are very fair and competitive, they are very accommodating with scheduling (Thanks, Ellie!), and best of all, their shop is conveniently located downtown. I have never had trouble with parking! Kathy

I have been going to see Kristy at Hairspray for almost two years now and she is amazing. I am extremely particular of my highlights as in the past have had bad experiences of misplaced foils, blonde that ends up being orange, uneven highlights etc. So i was so pleased when not just once but repeatively have received great highlights. She is always honest of what would look good and what wouldn't and every time she does my hair I am thrilled with it's outcome. kristy also does Mac make-up and does an amazing job (she's been doing mine for four years now, previously at Mac in macy's). Every time she is not available to do my make-up for an end and I am forced to go elsewhere I am always disappointed. Recently I was married and she did all the make-up for me and my five girls on my wedding day and they all looked gorgeous, some of them it was honestly the prettiest I have ever seen them (Maggie did a wonderful job on styling their hair they all loved her too). Kristy did an amazing updo for my wedding. I received so many compliments including "you look amazing and should wear your hair up more". My guests were so impressed that I had the same person do my hair and make-up. On top of all of this she is just a genuine, friendly person and I love my time chatting with her.
