Angel Nails in Searcy, AR

This was honestly a very disappointing experience. First, the men in the shop were showing a graphic hunting show that included, but was not limited to, up-close shots of animals being killed, their bodies being cut up, and other disturbing images. Never once have I went into a nail salon and thought "wow, I would love to see innocent animals slaughtered in real time!"

Other than that, the entire process was painful! Acetone splashed up onto my fingers and burned badly, he continually buffed the skin of my fingers, and ran the drill over my knuckle! In the end my nails looked decent, but not good enough to justify the experience, unfortunately.

It's a shame that the employees were so kind and that the interior was relatively nice, as everything else was subpar. I hope that this establishment can improve so that others do not have the same experience that I did.

3 of us went in for a pedicure. I called first and asked about wait times. They said no wait. We walked in and we sat down right away but it took them 30 min to get set up bc there was only one guy setting free. Finally he started on me and the other 2 were waiting with their feet soaking. He rushed through my pedicure. Didn't trim cuticles. Spent about 2 min scrubbing then sprayed me with water when he rinsed everything. Spent 2 min tops doing the hot stone massages. Briefly put lotion on and then hot towels and wipes everything off. I spent 30 min at the dryer waiting for the other 2 girls to get theirs finished while my guy went back to the manicure he was doing. Then I had to ask for the advertised 10% discount for being "under new management". All the tools came out of ziploc bags. Not sure anything was clean but it went so fast I couldn't tell. The other two techs who did the other pedicures were good per the other 2 girls. Def would not recommend.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Very sloppy nails bad and rude service and overpriced and paid for things I DID NOT RECEIVE! Not to mention they REFUSE to give me a refund!

I tried this place for the first time today and they did an amazing job. The staff was very friendly and my nails look great! I usually have a hard time finding a good nail place because my nails are so short but they worked with me and made my nails look amazing! I will be going back.

I had heard from many that this place was not very good, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Upon walking in, the place was cute and seemed clean. Me and a friend were very excited to treat ourselves, as we just had a hard exam! We picked our colors for our dip powder manicure and sat down. Once again, we were excited to finally treat ourselves after a long 2 weeks of studying! This is also where I realized that I was about to waste $35 on a manicure. The lady that did my nails had long hair and glasses, barely said two words to me, did not seem to know what she was doing, and to make matters worse she was constantly stopping in the middle of my manicure to check her phone and text people! So unprofessional!!! Now I'm fine with you checking your phone once we are done--- but she was doing it right in front of my face in the middle of my manicure, taking 3 times as long to finish up my nails when my friend was already done with hers! That is just so rude! She also kept hurting me once she was filing down the powder to my nail, after I said "ow" repeatedly (which she just ignored) and kept telling me "this wouldn't hurt if you relaxed". What kind of service is that??? Then once we were done (I assumed we were done even though my nails looked like they just came out of a wood chipper) she just stared at me and motioned me onward. She did not clean up my nails (I had powder and a glue like substance all over my nails), plus my nails are all different sizes now because she didn't care to make them the same length, I did not receive a hand massage (which is mainly what I was excited for) and I left disappointed and unimpressed and mad to have wasted my money. Please don't waste your money here and go somewhere where you'll be pampered and taken care of unlike me who left with her nails looking worse than before I came in and now I'm stuck looking like a hoot with all my nails of all different sizes. Sorry for the rant-- I NEVER leave a bad review unless I am utterly disappointed.
