Still great service every time and so pleased and happy with my hair cuts and treatments. My hairs so soft and thick and I can style it so many ways. Thinking of going w a short cut, but Ana has made me so happy with how my hair is long it's been hard to chop it off and regrow it like I do every so many years. Ana is fabulous! Everybody in the place is so nice and helpful I just usually go to Ana since she knows exactly what I want with out me even telling her :)

I brought in a picture of the hairstyle I wanted and Ana cut and styled it exactly right. I couldn't be happier. And at $22 for just a cut and style (I had just shampooed, so I skipped that), it is a bargain. A no frills kind of place, which doesn't bother me in the least. It's clean and Ana is a sweetheart. You will not be disappointed.

I'm so impressed with this salon! I came here based on the positive reviews, and they didn't disappoint. I showed Ana a picture of the cut I wanted (long layers) and was careful to explain that I wanted to keep my length. She gave me a super relaxing shampoo and got to work. She was friendly and confident and worked quickly but carefully. I have a LOT of hair, but I was out in about a half an hour. I'm extremely happy with my cut, and I'm also ecstatic because no one EVER knows how to style my wavy hair, but Ana got it right! At other salons, the stylist always tries to style it but it comes out too straight, too frizzy, too poofy. Not here! What's more -- the price is simply unbeatable. I can't wait to come back!

12-12-16 I have been going to Susy consistently now ever since my first review here. I just had my hair cut last week and while it was a great cut, something just wasn't right. I called Susy and asked to come back to make some adjustments and I went back today. I LOVE MY HAIR! The layers are perfect and it looks good just plain blow dried with no hairspray. What?! It's laying so nicely and looks "well cut". I do feel a little out of place when I go, because I'm usually the only one who isn't Latina, and the music playing is in Spanish, but who cares? What I really want is a great hair cut without breaking the bank and Susy delivers every time. She was great about re-cutting my hair today. I was kind of unsure about whether I'd be charged again (I got my hair cut less than a week ago), but she did such a good job and actually pretty much gave me a brand-new haircut, that I didn't mind paying the $18. I finally have the haircut I want. It just took a little patience and communication (I think I'm not the best at describing what I want so I rely on lots of pictures), and I'm happy. Very happy. I highly recommend Susy. This place isn't going to be for everyone, it's not the kind of luxury salon I'm used to at all. You know, the ones that people rave about but that charge you an arm and a leg, and your hairdresser with the fancy, weirdly spelled, very affected name goes all "creative" on you and don't really listen? And you walk out a lot poorer and hating your haircut? Well, this isn't that. It's super no frills, affordable prices and a great hair cut. I'm sold!!! And Susy is an absolute sweetie too. Edited 7-13-16 Okay. I've lived with the haircut Susi gave me almost 2 weeks ago. It's a GREAT haircut. It is cut so well that it lays well and looks good even when I'm out in 100* weather running around and sweating and my hair is doing its wavy, messy thing. No matter where I part it (or not!) it looks good. It makes ME look good. That's the hallmark of a great cut in my book, so despite my non-love for the salon itself, Susi is terrific and I'm upping my review to 4 stars based solely on the stellar haircut I got. Susi and the great haircut she gives will bring me back. Bravo to her for her obvious skill and talent. The salon itself though? It's different. It's a VERY low-key non-salon-type place, not very good lighting, very spare and utilitarian. It's in a strip mall area and is hidden back from the road off of 29. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Luxurious it's NOT. The people that worked there were all very nice and very accommodating, but it's not "nice" in the way you would think a salon would be, it's more like a large zero frills barber shop with fluorescent lighting. Which is okay, but not my preference. There were a lot of guys here getting haircuts and then hanging around for a really long time afterward. Maybe the day I was there they all knew each other, not sure. Like I said, nice people, but slightly strange atmosphere and vibe. On the positive side, I was a walk-in and was able to get a haircut with just under an hour wait. I was desperate, I had an unexpected job interview the next day and NEEDED a haircut, and I didn't want to break the bank. I really needed more of a trim and shaping, so I stayed and waited. Susi cut my hair. She was very nice, but communication was a little bit of an issue because English is her second language and I think we both had a slightly hard time understanding each other. I had a picture and I thought it was pretty simple and straight forward, but what I ended up with didn't look like the picture, and was at least a full inch shorter than I wanted and we had discussed. Now, the best part of all of this, is that when I got home and lived with the haircut for a few days, it's actually a REALLY GOOD HAIRCUT! It's even, it lays well, it's able to be worn parted several different ways, I like it! And it was about HALF of what I would normally pay for a woman's haircut and blow dry. The haircut itself was great. The blow dry and styling-not so much. Price? Great. Overall experience was rather strange, and I'm waffling a bit as to whether I will go back. If I felt that I could communicate more effectively with Susi, I'd consider it, but the uncomfortable aspect of the language barrier makes me wary. I'm torn. Like I said, everyone was really polite and certainly nice enough, but I just felt uncomfortable the entire time for whatever reason. I feel bad not giving a great review because the people were so nice, but in fairness and honesty, my overall rating stands at 3.0 - 3.5 stars. 4 stars for the haircut itself.

I think I like my haircut (i just got home) but my experience at this place was not great. I chose this place b/c of their low prices and the fact that I could get a same day appointment. Numerous people talked about how friendly and welcoming the place was, so I was surprised that my experience was not similar. First, when I called to make the appointment I was confused when the person who answered the phone didn't identify the salon. They just answered "Hello" and I assumed i had the wrong number! I didn't feel professional and made me a bit nervous, but i really wanted to get my hair cut today :-P When I came in for my appointment, one of the women cutting hair looked at my weird and said "Do you have an appointment?" without any other kind of greeting. I told her yes, she never asked my name but I stood their awkward while she worked a bit more and then turned to another woman who was watching our interaction and sitting in one of the chairs. I guess she asked the woman if she'd take me, and the woman's face said she'd rather not. I almost left just because I felt so uncomfortable. When I sat down in the chair the woman didn't introduce herself and barely asked what I wanted. I showed her a picture I brought and tried to explain what I was thinking. She started cutting my hair and then after she started she called out to another woman in the salon and started speaking to her in Spanish and gesturing towards me. Then the other woman asked me what I wanted again in English. I repeated what I had said and she (I assume) repeated it back to the woman in Spanish. I felt a bit nervous to think that I was having a language barrier with the woman cutting my hair, something that requires very clear communication. I think I'll enjoy the haircut, but it's not exactly what I had in mind. The woman made no conversation with me during the cut and didn't even ask me if I liked it at the end. I think the name of the woman who cut my hair was Sandra, but i'm not sure. I have to say it was an overall strange and stressful experience. I don't plan on returning to this salon.
