Amelia's Hair Designers in El Centro, CA

Three weeks ago I tried getting a trim by a new stylist at a different salon and was left rather unhappy. She hadn't had any experience with my type of style and it showed. I didn't even bother styling my hair after a week because it was too long. This left me on the hunt for somewhere else to go. Essentially I just walked down Main Street an asked if any of their stylists had experience with alternative hair styles. After being turned away at one shop (they were closing early), I found my way to Amelia's Hair Designers. Irma was referred to me and she did a fabulous job. She figured my cut out right away from the pictures I had shown her. I left rather pleased. Prices vary by stylists. This is the type of salon that rents out chairs instead of having permanent stylists. Based off of today's experience, Irma is definitely a great hair stylist!

I use to get my hair done at Amelias but the stylist use to forget about me while I was sitting at the blow dryer sit. So I stopped going and the stylist didn't and doesn't care about her clients its all about collecting her money and that's it. Well approximately 2 weeks ago I went to get a Brazilian blow out to get my hair straighten and my hair stayed curly well she redid my hair and she told me that my hair would not go straight really why didn't she tell me that when she collected my 200.00 dlls? Bc she doesn't care about her clients its all about collecting the money. Well I won't make that mistake again. I'm no longer going bk with that stylist.

I just called this salon and they hung up on me in mid sentence. VERY RUDE!!!!!!! DON'T GO THERE!!!!! I only gave them one star because Yelp makes you click on at least one. I give them a minus 35 stars!!!! No customer service!

One star is way too much. Went in with my sister to get our trim, and as we walked in, the staff was too busy doing each others hair extensions. The lady began with my sister, she didn't even bother to wash her hair, and when she was done, she didn't style nor at the least try to remove the hair that fell on her neck. Same sh*t with me. I guess they were in a hurry to finish their "job" n keep on doing their extensions before their boss went in (my mom was there and she knows who the boss owner is). Never going back, I shouldve gone to Mr Richard's as I always do!!

Walk-ins are accepted and even open on Sundays.
