If you're looking for an overpriced painful pedicure with a careless technician who clips your actual skin rather than a cuticle, this is your place. The polish on my big toe also got scuffed somehow before I even had my flip flops back on but I wasn't interested in spending any more time there. Didn't ask what kind of pedicure I wanted, didn't scrub down the one rough place I have on both my feet, massage was meh, the selection of non-gel colors was sparse, and I'm leaving in pain. Never again.
This was by far the worst experience. My water was cold and they accidentally drained it and then filled it with colder water. Then the woman doing my pedicure didn't ask me which one I wanted just gave me the most expensive one. Then I sat there for 30-40 minutes with towels on my legs and the. 20 more minutes with no polish until my sister in law said something to them about me not getting polish. Then! They charged me $55 for all of it. Unreal.
This place is terrible. My daughter went to get her nails done and they were so bad. they were absolutely horrible and they did a service she didn't ask for, blamed her and then when she said they didn't look good they told her to pay or they would call the cops. They promised a full refund after the owner got involve. when I came back while the owner was there to get the The full refund And she was back to the partial refund which we took to be over the situation.
I'm not normally one to write a review, but my experience today was shocking. I've come to Allure in past and have had a great experience, and after today I will not be returning. I set my appointment to be with Cindy but had a different women instead. The whole time she kept going back and forth between multiple people and me to do my pedicure. She asked what pedicure I wanted and I asked what the differences between them were, and she told me the deluxe came with all the basic elements plus a mask, towels, scrub and a 10 minute massage. When it came time to putting on the mud mask she put one streak on the front of each shin and then wrapped it in a towel. In the past it goes all over the leg. Then she started painting my toes and started the 10 minutes timer, by the time she was done with my toes she put a tiny amount of lotion on my ankles and tops of my feet, and rubbed them for maybe 2 minutes and the timer went off and she said "okay you're done". I was confused and said I thought it was 10 minutes and she said yeah the timer went off. I explained to her that she did not run my legs for 10 minutes so she rubbed them for an additional two minutes, as Cindy, the lady I requested, rubbed the lady next to me for well over 10 and that customer had requested only a basic pedicure. I paid more money to have a better pedicure and then had her try to jip me. I wouldn't have upgraded knowing what was in store. I will not be returning and do not recommend a nail salon that tries to take peoples money. Not to mention, I still tipped her at the end and she asked for more money...
We went in to get my daughters nails done for her 6th birthday, and the lady who did her nails was incredibly rude to both of us. As soon as we walked in she had my daughter wash her hands, my daughter came back and the lady said... go wash them again, when my daughter came back the second time the lady said "DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO WASH YOUR HANDS!?" at that point I looked at my daughters hands and they were perfectly clean... that was only the beginning of her nonstop bullying. I hate confrontation and was just going to let it slide, so my daughter could get her nails done and feel special on her b day, but with in 15 minutes her comments were getting so out of hand that I said, Enough! I told her we were cutting our appointment short and I wanted to pay so we could leave. That was a month ago and I am still in disbelief with the way we were treated. I will never go back to them!
