Alchemy Beauty Studio - Salon and Retail for Kevin Murphy, COLOR.ME in Reno, NV

I was surprised to only see a few reviews about this salon! The staff is wonderful, friendly, and skilled! It's a nice small business and word needs to get out about it!

My mom needed a trim and a new hair dresser. She had the same one for many years at another salon, but each time I tried to call, I couldn't get ahold of them. The last time we went to her was 2021. And I believe she was getting ready to move out of state. So, it was time to find someone new.

I dreaded the process because it takes so long to trust someone who will do the hair the way we like. Thankfully, I started searching in 2019. A few names came to mind, but I knew this is where I wanted to go! So I made an appointment with Morgan, for my mom.

Morgan was amazing! My mom has moderate dementia and I wasn't sure how it would go. I had no reason to worry, Morgan was gentle and listened to my mom. Family commented on how good mom looked for Mother's Day.

I have been going to Alchemy Beauty Studio the last 3 years. Each of the stylists that work there are amazing and talented. So happy I found them.

My first time with Chantel was when I went in and asked her to cut all my hair off! She did an amazing job and I've kept my hair short ever since. She often has new ideas for my hair and easily convinces me to try new things - I really trust her to basically do anything to my hair. Chantel is a pleasure to talk to; it is so quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable at her salon. She takes a lot of time with her customers, it never feels rushed. Chantel has a way of making you feel important and beautiful! She has all the latest technology to make scheduling, appointment reminders, and payment a breeze. I highly recommend her!!

I have been going to Chantel for years!! Every single time my hair turns out beautiful and healthy! She knows exactly what works with my hair type, face shape and personality! It is so hard to find people who truly understand curly hair, Chantel has this covered! I feel so relaxed, welcomed and taken care of and her scalp massages are THE BEST!! She is truly a natural talent!!

Chantel is absolutely amazing!!! She has been doing my hair (which is long, thick, and honestly a bit challenge for pretty much every stylist I've seen in the past) for about two years and I never leave dissatisfied. Whether I am just describing to her what I have in mind or I bring her a picture with requests for various modifications, she somehow always manages to give me exactly what I am thinking of. I have never been happier with a hairstylist than I am with Chantel.
