Adela Nail Spa 668 INC in Danbury, CT

I have been to this nail salon once before and they did a really good job, however going back for my acrylic fill  I was very upset and not pleased with what I left with. I am someone who loves to get my nails done and every 2 weeks I go back to get them redone. My usual is an acrylic set with gel polish, or acrylic fill with gel polish. I  came to this place because my usual was booked and I was in a hurry before vacation to get my nails done. I was pleased with the service from the last time so this morning I called to get a fill done. When I came in I was seated right away and he starts taking off the color with the machine as usual. Then proceeds to take off my actual tips to which finally I said something and he explained that he was putting on powder but I need to take it all off first. I told him that what I had on was acrylic and I just wanted an acrylic fill with gel polish. I could tell he got a bit frustrated with what I was saying because I insisted on not having SNS, but instead gel. He then began to put on another new set of acrylics for me and overall it was an alright experience. When it came to pay I spent 70 dollars on basic acrylic nails a new full set with gel even though all I went in for was a fill. He made a mistake and still charged me way over normal price. For 70$ I should feel much better about what I got done and for someone who is always getting my nails done I haven't had them looking this bad ever.

Andy and Linda are the managers and their staff are very friendly and hardworking. Convenient location. No reservation? They will try very hard to accommodate you. Been going there for 20+ years.

We were hesitant after reading the reviews, and seeing only two stars, but it was a holiday and everywhere else was booked. Both of my daughters were cut during their manicures, and we paid extra for a longer lasting polish that didn't even last 2 days!!!  Very strange.  And dirty is not a strong enough adjective to describe the "spa". Disgusting is more accurate.

AWFUL....STAY AWAY!!
The worst experience. the salon was empty I should have left right away.  The girl who did my pedicure had no idea what she was doing. the other 2 women that worked there were rude and abusive to the girl doing my pedicure, obviously she was new and not trained. At one point 1 of the women yelled at me "hey lady massage?" so rude and unprofessional.
the whole experience was horrific!
They should not be in business.

DO NOT GO HERE! I came in hoping to just get my acrylics off and be out quick. I was sitting for an hour and took them off myself before she finally cut them. I had a lot of excess acrylic residue left on my skin and she didn't take it off. The worst part was the acetone I had my nails dipped in that was dirty, she pours it into a plastic container for later use... They are not clean and they don't take their time doing someone's nails. I wish I could give 0 stars.
