Can't say enough great stuff about the service I get at this salon. Maryann is so friendly, does a fantastic razor cut, and is ridiculously reasonably priced (I keep telling her she needs to charge more). I won't go any place else!

Avoid this place. This was the worst salon experience I've ever had. Stylist Mary Ann sports a Jane Jetson hairdo, which should've been a big red flag. I wanted to give her a chance because I know how older women are discriminators against. I should've run out the door instead. She mumbled incoherently and constantly for ten minutes until I asked her, can we please get started? Incoherent mumbling continued for the duration. Every clear and simple direction I gave to her, including a picture of me when my hair was just cut the last time, was completely ignored. She ruined the style so badly it will take months to grow out the bad too-blonde and bled color job and hair cut. The cut should've been shoulder length all around, but she started hacking away with a razor on the hair around my face. I told her to stop. Then she started layering it like a 1980s hair style. She was hacking and snipping away at the back of my head as if it was an unruly hedge when I'd had enough and told her to stop, I was done. I left with a half done horrible cut. I called Mary Ann the next day to request a refund, which she refused. No, they don't give $20 haircuts anymore but charged me $85 for a botched cut and color. She swears she has never received a complaint in fifty years of styling hair. I find that impossible to believe. I have never has such an incompetent stylist work on my hair in my entire life. And her mumbling. Enough to drive the most patient person nuts. The shop was cluttered, worn, and unsanitary. I used their bathroom and there was nothing to dry my hands on. When I mentioned this to her, she shrugged and said, oh I forgot to bring the paper towels, and did not get me something to dry my hands. I had to wipe them dry on my clothes. This means the stylists also had dirty hands. There was no comb disinfectant jar at Mary Ann's station. She rummaged through a cluttered drawer and found a comb and scissors. Once I took a good look around as I exited with my botched hair, it became imperative to file a report with the State of Florida Cosmetology Board about the condition of the salon.

I would recommend you avoid this salon unless you are over 70. It is a very geriatric type salon.
