I took my mother to get pedicures and full sets done on our nails this past weekend. Let me say first that there were only two people getting their nails done when we walk in. We started with the lady giving us our pedicures. She made the water scorching hot and rolled her eyes when we told her it was entirely too hot. Then, she kept going back and forth during the pedicure to watch the man do nails. Our water got cold, she left the towels around our legs so long they got cold, and never rinsed the exfoliating stuff off of our legs. While she was painting my mother's toes, I SWEAR TO YOU we heard what sounded like a rat rummaging around in the back. My mother wanted to give that the benefit of a doubt, so we went to the nail stations. The man kept putting the fake nail on wrong on all of my fingers and they kept popping off when he tried to file them. He cut THREE of my fingers with the cuticle grinder by it "slipping" up onto the skin. Did I get an apology? No! When my fingers started bleeding all he said was "uh-oh". No offer of a band-aid or anything! We finally got done 6 HOURS LATER and they wanted to charge us $80 each even though he cut my fingers up! The only reason we went to this place is so we could find a nail salon closer than Montgomery. You better believe we will NEVER visit this salon ever again and I will continue to drive to Montgomery to Anthony Vince! They are very respectful, do a great job, and WON'T CUT YOU!

My husband paid for a $75 gift certificate for my birthday at AL Nails in Troy..It was a deluxe pedicure and manicure with gel polish...I arrived last Sat Aug, 22, 2020 around 1:30...When I walked in, it was a lady at register complaining. She was explaining to the owner that she should've gotten a new manicure for the price he just charged her for a fill in with gel polish..He kept telling her no its not the same price...I received my pedicure first and the lady handed me a basket to pick my color...When she was done with pedicure she asked, "Was I using the same color for nails?...I replied yes and she told me to sit at the first chair...He had just finished up on the lady who sat 2 seats down from me...She had manicure with nails put on and a pedicure with gel polish for $90..She was surprised at the amount he charged as well...I'm sitting at the first table waiting as he goes to the back...They started talking and the lady comes from the back with a bowl of water for me to soak my real nails in..He goes to work on someone elses nail as she starts working on mine. She started to clean up my nails & cuticles..I realized that she picked up a used filer and informed her of that. She was about to file my nail with the one used on someone elses instead of throwing it away. She gets done with that and puts on some clear looking polish. I said you're suppose to put a fake nail on my hands first and she points to the guy and kept painting..She gets down to the last 4 nails and gets up.He comes over and rushes up my nails...He tells me that she was hungry and stopped. I informed him that she didn't put fake nails on. He makes some strange grunts and continues anyway...He finishes and she tells me $90. You didn't even put any nails on my hand. I paid and said I'm not coming back here...It was different when it was in the old spot.. That following Monday at work the polish came up on 2 of my nails. My coworker pointed out to me.. I called soon as I got off Monday no answer..On Tuesday he asked me to come but I couldn't not until Friday...Each day polish is coming up until all of them were gone. Remind you it started 2 days after they put the gel polish on. I called Friday to inform him all of my polish was gone and that he charged me $90. I arrived Sat Aug 29th at 9:27a.m. waiting..They opened at 9:30 and I was the first person. I told him about what happened and that it was me who called you twice this week.. I saw that he was the owner on the license posted beside the 89 score. He does a full set and puts gel polish back on...When he gets done, I said thank you..He tells me $30 and I said how. You just charged me $90 last Sat. He states that he had given me a discount. I was beyond pissed and will not be going back..Please check to make sure they're using clean materials and ask for price before they start.
