Wonderful salon. My 97 year old mother-in-law has been going for 15 Years! They are attentive, kind and professional. I, too, have used their services when in town. Terrific.
Really horrible experience. The lady, Trinity, was just super sloppy, rushed and rough. I asked for a square-oval, well known shape at all salons...ended up with coffin shape, very bumpy nail cover and crooked shape. It looks awful.
Don't even open the door...RUN! Tools were not sterilized in any way and no nail brushes available to clean and wash nails before or after. I requested a full set but upon sitting down and beginning I could tell this lady had no idea what she was doing. I let her finish, hoping the would turn out ok, but unfortunately they looked like bear claws and the acrylic is very bumpy. I even had to request that she use the nail file to shape the nail and trim off excess acrylic. I really wasn't happened and explained my concerns. She said she would fix them for an additional price since she would have to file them down and repaint. I asked her if I could pay the $45 quoted for the basic set and just have her remove them but again she stated it would be an additional cost, up to $50. What??? I handed her my credit card as it clearly stated they accepted Visa and Mastercard (FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE) and she handed it back and said she would prefer cash. I explained I'd prefer to use my CC but she again didn't want to accept it. At this point I was done and handed her the $45 and walked out!
So I'm new in town and I'm looking for a good nail salon to be my regular salon. I called before I arrived and they let me know that they could see me right away. Sure enough I went in and there was only one other lady wrapping up on a pedicure. So I waited a little bit and chose my color. I chose a forest green gel color. The lady helping me was nice but she ended up nicking my middle left finger with the filer. The set was nice while I was in there. But 2 days later my middle finger stared getting inflamed. It was so painful that I had to do something. I squeezed my finger and sure enough, puss started coming out of the side of my nail. This leads me to believe that she nicked me and her tools must've been a little dirty. I'm very disappointed as I was looking for a nail salon to call home and I was hoping this would be it. I of course took the rest of the nails off. I didn't even have them a week.
Came in, they took me right away & there was no customers. I needed a fill & had two broken nails. Oddly, they were just rushing my nails without much care on the shape. They wanted to put my nails thicker which I didn't mind, but they made certain areas thicker then the other side of the nail like it was leaning. They didn't clean up the edges where lumps & my real nails were sticking out on the sides so I filed them when I got home. It was 45$ but I had better service at other nail salons in Tucson that charge 35$ for the same routine. Wouldn't recommend. At least the staff were nice, I give them that
