Terrible salon. I went and had a full set put on he rushed through the entire process. Nails were uneven...rhinestones fell off the next day. My daughter got a gel mani done and it was so awful he discounted it. How do you mess up a simple gel manicure?
I've been going here since the nineties! Great pedicures! Walked in on a Saturday morning and waited no longer than 10 mins. Everyone was nice and polite!
They used to do good work but I would never go there again. They did a full set and the guy with dyed tips should never do nails. He took almost 2 hours and this is what my full set looks like. This cost $50...robbery. Do not go to this nail salon.
I am so, so thankful for this nail salon! Having been traveling/hiking for over a week, I pulled into Spartanburg late afternoon on Christmas Eve... In desperate need of a Shellac/gel manicure. I walked into A & K with no appointment at 6pm they were gracious and got me seated right away. My sweet manicurist (sorry I didn't catch her name) got to work immediately, cleaned my nails up and had me walking out within an hour. She did an outstanding job, days later nails are holding up beautifully!
I can in today to get a pedicure and a full set with a $55 gift certificate. I had the certificate checked before I got started because it was 5 days expired. I was told that it would be fine and would work. However, halfway through my pedicure an employee came up to me and told me that they won't accept the certificate. I am beyond upset. They were not upfront with me and I feel like I was lied to. They met me half way and told me that I didn't have to pay for my pedicure but that if I wanted my nails done I would have to pay out of pocket.
I will NEVER be coming back to this salon. I highly recommend that you do not come.
