I've been going here for a few years and every time I go there they mess up or don't give me what I want. The last time I went here I asked for a little bit off the sides back and the top the person cutting my hair ended up giving me a front-to-back fade with really short hair in the front of my sides short and long in the back now it looks like I have a mullet the only thing they got right was the top long. If you make the trip to go down here you might as well go to the shop it is right next door and is probably cheaper that's where I'm going to get this monstrosity fixed
Unpredictable prices, unpredictable quality. Used to be great, not anymore. I called explicitly to know the price as I have a super simple short hair cut. They gave me a range of prices that differed by 25%. I confirmed on the phone that they can do it for the lower price given the simplicity and made an appointment. Showed up and they said that "this stylist" charges more. They lost my time that is way more expensive than the price difference and I hopped on the car and went somewhere else charging 33% lower than their lowest price.
Susan started out inexpensive with average hair skills. Without notice, she increased her prices drastically, quickly and without notice. She also began working in as many customers as possible while I sat with bleach on my head. She did this several times, eventually she burned off an entire section of hair, but blamed me (even though I came home and conditioned her mess with Olaplex every couple days. She certainly didn't care what happened to my hair, only the money)
Great for cut and blow dry! Got my haircut by Zara. I can't say for certain if this is the best place in Kirkland because I've only got my hair cut at two other places before and this was much better...
I got a very bad color job and cut a couple weeks ago and didn't want to go back to the same place. Seriously, probably the worst color job I've ever received (and paid for)! So, this morning I called a few places not knowing where to try next. Luckily, the first place that answered their phone was 88 Kirkland Salon, and I was talking to Susan. She worked me in today because of a cancellation. And I'm not kidding when I say "lucky me"! Susan did a great job! My highlights are beautiful! She even cleaned up a messy cut. I'm so happy to have found a good stylist. Feels like I've been bouncing around looking for way too long. Susan is going to be my stylist for a long time! (She was also very pleasant and fun to chat with.)
