5280 Salon in Aurora, CO

I really enjoyed my experience at 5280 Salon. Kayla was patient and meticulous with my highlights, and also extremely nice. It is hard to find a place you trust with your color, and I'm looking forward to returning. My husband said he thinks it's the best color I've gotten in the many years we've been together.

Amazing experience for my entire family. Karen is the best. She is knowledgeable in all styles and color techniques. Very easy to schedule, she is also flexible if you need a specific day. I don't think she usually does kids haircuts but she's always available to do my boys haircuts. She's done my teenagers perm and he's thrilled. I used a very expensive salon before Karen and thought my hair looked good. But after Karen did the same services for me I knew I was getting ripped off by my previous salon. I was paying way too much for color techniques by an inexperienced hairdresser. Karen is consistent, she listens to you and makes suggestions tailored for you.

I came in with a specific idea and mission, and it just wasn't executed. I asked for a lot of layers, all the way up my hair, but none of the layers be so short I can't put it in a ponytail. Additionally, I was dealing with a botched face-framing that needed fixing (which, given, was!) but when I walked out of that salon I felt like I looked the same as when I went in. $90 down the hole for basically a face frame fix-up and a whopping one layer in the back. I didn't know how to say that I wasn't satisfied, that I asked for more layers, so maybe that's on me, but I had photos for front, back, and sides, and was told my hair had a lot of volume and length for the hairstyle and I understood, just thought the layers would be lower down, but there were ... zero! The hairdresser was really nice but I'm not coming back :/ on my way elsewhere to find a place that will do what I ask.

I am 80 years old. I went to the same hair dresser for years. Last year I told her I did not want an old lady look. She did not hear me, did not get it, did the same old thing.  I prayed to find a new hairdresser.  One day I saw this salon when I went to T-Mobile.  I read the reviews for Maryam Saemi and decided to try her. On the first visit Maryam said that she liked women who wanted to look "stylish."  Bingo! She gave me a wonderful look--white hair to "frame" my face and the rest blonde.  And a new updated hair cut/style.  I love my new look!  It makes me look more sophisticated and yes, stylish. Strangers compliment my hair. I am so pleased that I was led to Maryam Saemi.  She is a lovely person who is really into her work.

I would avowing this salon since they are using exited redkin products that fades away after a week. I have complained of the issue and owner/ manager of the salon did not provide any resolution. Very unprofessional, and she and her stylist ask people to leave them positive reviews!
