5 Star Hair Cut Salon in Krugerville, TX

Excellent men's barbering. Great value for the money. Getting a shampoo, massage and hot towel just adds to the great experience. This was my first time since moving here last month using this shop. Will be my regular spot going forward.

Beautiful salon and Hang LE really did an awesome job on my hair! I had color and cut done. I brought in a picture so I could show her what I would like and she did even better!

I too, was taken aback by my experience here. Due to the fact I was in the area, I decided to given the place a whirl due to the reviews on Google. When I was asked what style I wanted, I said zero on the side and back blended to a one on top. She questioned my choice and also pointed to a sign asking what style I would rather have. Folks, I've had my hair done the same way for 30 years, so don't need to be second guessed. During the early part of the cut, she asked "what are all these pimples on your head/neck, there are a lot of them?" Taken aback somewhat, I told her that I had Neurofibromatosis, and that they were small tumors. When she was done with the initial cut, it was a one on the side. She seemed irritated when I reiterated my desire for a zero on the side/back. Steer clear unless you want to be insulted and second guessed about your choice of styling.

I saw all the good reviews and decided to give it a go. We are new to the area and looking through all the reviews, it seems good. However, when I told her that I wanted a men's fade with a 2 on the side, she proceeded to argue with me and say what I needed was a four. Also, she walked me over to a poster with different pictures and made me point out what I wanted. I should've known then to leave but I figured it must've been a language barrier. After that, she continued by wetting my hair and start the horrific experience of "texturing" as she stated which consisted of randomly grabbing pieces of my hair and not cutting at an angle but rather straight down. I wanted to try this location out to get away from the haircut mill chains like Supercuts or great clips. If you go here, be ready to hear how she was 2nd in the nation and what you need to do for your hair. I question the validity of this because of my experience. It was obvious she didn't know what she was doing. I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone and it was my first and last time, which I'm pretty sure she knew. She provided me however, with a wash and rinse, putting conditioner on my face, and a ruff massage. I was so ready to go by the time I left I acted as though it was great and paid ASAP. I just wanted it to end.

Hang Le is wonderful! She had done my sons hair several times at another salon and we were thrilled to find she had opened her own salon. She is genuinely one of best. Can't recommend her or her salon highly enough.
