5 Diamond Salon in Manchester, NH

I'm so happy I found 5 Diamond Salon and booked their services for hair and makeup for myself and by bridal party on my wedding day! Samantha was very responsive and helpful via email, including creating a schedule for the morning of the wedding and helping book my trial appointment. I did my hair and makeup trial in person at the salon with Jaci and even with pretty limited guidance on makeup and showing her just a couple hair inspiration photos, she created a look that I really liked! Jaci did all the makeup on my wedding day and Nicole did the majority of the hair. They were an efficient team and arrived early to set up. The bridesmaids and my mom were all happy with how they looked and it was fun and relaxing to get ready together with the whole group at our airbnb. Their fees were affordable and within my budget and I was really happy I chose this salon for my wedding day!

Sam and the entire team at 5 Diamond Salon was a pleasure to work with leading up to my wedding day and on the day itself! They arrived on time, were professional, kept us on schedule, and everyone loved their hair and makeup! My mom and my MIL were nervous as they hadn't had their makeup done before, but they both looked perfect and loved their looks. Jaci was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond. She did my hair and makeup for our engagement photos, and did my cut and color before the wedding (which I loved). She then stayed late so we could test out a hair look I had decided I wanted for the wedding, which turned out perfectly and made me so excited for the day. 5 Diamond Salon's prices were some of the most reasonable that I found, and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

On July 28th I got my hair done by Mikayla. I came in looking for a dark maroon with some layers (first referenced picture).Before the appointment I was asked if I had a budget and I said no because i knew it would be a bit to get my hair this color especially since I had long dark hair. I showed her the referenced picture once we started but that was the only time she looked at it. She never asked to see the color again even when she started mixing the dye. I was never showed the color before it was put into my hair but I didn't say anything. When I finally saw the color after my hair was finished I was a bit disappointed because of how bright and magenta the color actually was. I was even more shocked at the end when it came to the price. With everything including the tip I paid about $400. I know I was asked if I had a budget but I was never given an estimated price and i didn't know that  was the price rage. Regardless I still payed for the service and gave a tip for her time.
On August 14th I went on vacation to the Bahamas. It had been about 2 and half weeks since getting my hair done. Of course at the Bahamas I spent time swimming in the ocean. The first day there half of the color had already washed out of my hair. By the second day I barely had any red and was left with a washed out pink/blonde. By the end of the trip my hair was completely blond with no trace of pink. I was only there for four days. I was disappointed how easily the color washed out especially for how much I paid. I was devastated because it felt like a waste of money. I reached out and explained what had happened with my hair. In response I was told all the factors that could have played into the color being washed out. I was offered an appointment to get my hair done with a more permanent color. I honestly just don't want my hair done again here and have to pay for any service. I wish I had just left my hair alone but now it feels dry and damaged and looks washed out. Overall I didn't get what I asked for and paid a lot for my hair to be washed out and ruined in a month.

This place is only good for just basic hair needs like cutting. They have no idea how to color hair. My hair is totally damaged.before you go make sure you interview them

I booked 5 Diamond for my wedding hair for myself and bridal party. Mikayla did an amazing job at my hair and makeup trial-she really took her time and made sure I had everything I wanted. Their team for our day of services provided such a great, relaxing experience! We were able to use the back room and it was just so peaceful and calm and a great atmosphere that you want as preparing for your wedding! Samantha and her team were so accommodating and helpful and easy to work with. Definitely recommend if getting married in the area and looking for a salon!
