I'm not usually one to bring up a bad experience anywhere I've been to , but when a "nail tech" tells their client that they're going to have to "prep their own nails next time" I will speak up. Lexi the nail tech at 425 & company really disappoints because she is the one who has told an old client of hers those things while doing her nails. The reason behind this is due to her not scheduling all her clients accordingly and not being clear about her policies. Lexi got upset at a client because the nail design was "too difficult" and she wouldn't have enough time but was already late with the client before, and Ive even seen a similar design on other clients in the past as well. Not only did she rush this client, not do any design, and tell her to prep her own nails next time but she even went out of her way weeks after saying these things to her and doing her nails and blocked her. Not only that but I've also gotten my nails done by her and it was decent she also claimed she couldn't even do an oval French tip because the polish brush was "too big" while the detailing brushes were right on her desk. Shortly into the appointment I realized I was never going to come back after she spoke down on her other clients.
Tanner did a terrific job cutting our hair. Both of us had relatively complicated shorter cuts. She really made magic! Even better than the super-expensive salons. Our hair had texture and motion. The place is super cute with exposed brick, modern decor and lots of services we didn't get to try yet. We are making it a habit of booking appts every time we come to CWU for a visit.
