!!!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! My experience at this place started with high expectations, as I had read some of the Yelp reviews written by the salon's regular customers which seemed to praise the owner and the salon. We were the only two customers inside, and the owner was friendly. However, after getting just two regular pedicures, Julie told us the price was ONE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS. For just TWO pedicures, we were charged with the price of $110 CASH ONLY. This was a shock, but not the only reason for writing this review. After leaving we took a closer look at the job Julie had done our toes, and we noticed that for BOTH of us the two coats of polish were uneven and sloppily applied, the job had looked as if we had asked a child to paint our toes, and had strange black specks encrusted into the baby pink polish... It looked like fungus or dirt.
Please, if you are considering this place I suggest you find another nail salon, this place was nothing but a rip off and a shoddy job. Nowhere else could you find such a ridiculous price for such a BAD job. This place is a rip-off charging $110 dollars for just TWO pedicures that were applied so sloppily even though we were the ONLY two customers in the salon! If I am being completely honest I could have done a better job myself, the "massage" that comes with the pedicure felt like she was barely tickling my calves. $110 DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. Be smart and go somewhere else.
When we asked why the prices were so high, she explained that "pedicures take more work." My mouth dropped. This was the laziest, messiest pedicure job I had ever gotten, and I was planning to come back to get a manicure, but after this experience I am horrified and cannot trust her to work on my fingers. For such a price it seems as if I had gotten rhinestones or gel polish on my toenails, but the price was just for plain polish. I am pretty astounded at the fact that she actually let us leave her salon with such horribly looking nails. I am actually very upset. Please, please read this and DO NOT go to her salon.
Julie should read this herself and realize that she is gypping her customers. No wonder the place looked abandoned... I will never go back, I recommend people avoid this place. We called ahead to reserve spots, and Julie did not mention anything about the salon being cash only, nor could we find the salon prices online. We were the only customers in the store... I'm guessing the rest of Highlands knows to avoid this god awful place.
Never in my life have I received such sloppy pedicures, and NEVER for $110. Go somewhere else. Even if my pedicure had been impeccably done, these kinds of prices are reserved for resorts and hotels where they use clean supplies and high-end products, give wonderful massages, and provide cuticle oils in the end. This is a hole-in-the-wall salon where I noticed the nail files, cuticle cutters, and other supplies she was using was not from fresh, unopened packages... I'm so relieved I did not get a fungal infection... The owner needs to realize that she not only has ridiculous prices but did such a terrible job, I left the salon in such a bad mood I came straight home to work on this review...
This might seem like a harsh review, but you must understand the circumstances. Again, if the polish job was at least decent, I would never have written this review. !!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!

I've had my manicure there three times now and I have not been disappointed. The woman who does my manicure is professional, caring, does a very good job.
Thieves and liars!!! Went in for a manicure. While she was doing the manicure the owner talked me into doing SHS nails. "All natural. Has vitamin C. Better than gel and acrylic" I agreed then they charged me for the SHS AND the manicure which the girl never finished because I switched tables! Then she proceeds with SHS and dips my finger in acrylic powder. I try to stop her but she insisted. All natural blah blah blah. Then after my nails were covered with layers of acrylic powder and some clear substance she proceeds to cover each nail with SUPERGLUE!! What the heck is all natural about superglue?!? Liars and thieves!!! Do go there. Oh and the kicker. It's only been 1 week and they all chipped off. They said it lasts 3 weeks. Liars and thieves.
