# 1 Nails in Huntingdon, PA

Got to the salon and no one was there. Called the number on the door and attendant came about roughly 5-10 min. I came for a pedicure. Place was not clean and my pedicure was awful. My feet are still have dead skin and it was rushed. Will never go again.

I hate leaving negative reviews when the person providing the services seems nice. Weeks ago, my daughters and I went to Kelly for a "girls' day". We are new to the area and should have checked Yelp. Kelly was the only person working which made it hard for her to service my dip powder service, one manicure and 2 pedicures. Kelly was kind to me, but was snippy, at times, to my one daughter getting a pedicure. The paint job on my pedicure was not very good as she definitely felt rushed as more customers came in for services. Kelly has to tell multiple people to come back in an hour or two. I wish I had walked out based on the pedicure. But I didn't. Kelly proceeded to brag about how my dip manicure could last 4 weeks. Well, she's right. It did, but not at an expense. Kelly probably put 5-7 layers of the dip powder on my nails. Previous places only used 2 and, only if the color needed one more coat, a third coat. In addition, Kelly used a drill to smooth out the ridges of my nails. But that night I was in PAIN!! She filed them so low that it hurt. At that moment, I decided I would not return to her no matter what. FIVE weeks later I went to a different place to get my dips. When the lady removed the layers and layers of dip powder, you could see a VERY noticeable indent in my new growth and the nail Kelly drilled down. I wish I took a picture of it before they put new dips on. The new lady said it's called a 'ring of fire' and will take 4-6 months for my damaged nails to grow out. So the new lady put 2 layers on, but within days, my nails started to break. This rarely happened before with 2 layers of dip. Kelly filed down my nails to such a thin layer that I had to go back and have my nails cut short. One more thing... My thumb nail also was green when they took off Kelly's application of dip. I have NEVER had that before, which makes me question even more what she did to my nails. The place is dingy and needs work, but I wonder if her sterilization techniques need help too.

They only had one lady working and she was rushing. My acrylics were awful and not straight at all. Don't recommend this place

This place destroyed my daughters nails and then denied me a refund without "removing the fill". No you are crazy if you think I'm going to let you touch my daughters nails again. I paid for service this is crap!

Went to get two of my gel nails repainted because the design came off and the lady told me she would have to redo all 10 nails. She also told me to try going somewhere else! What a joke!
