George's Barber Shop in Simi Valley, CA

This has to be one of the worst establishments in Simi Valley for haircuts.  My son went there just today 12-28-2023 for a haircut.  Asked for a specific type of haircut.  A taper fade with a clean up on top of his hair which used to be long and messy. He just wanted a clean up and to be lined up. Yet they decided to do this.  Because he's a good kid he paid and gave a tip.  He was so upset.  Embarrassed.  If you don't know how to cut hair or how to cut a certain type of haircut don't take advantage of people.  This place is bs and trash. No type of class from whoever cut his hair.  Don't waste your money at this trash ass place.

I like this barber shop because the cuts are done well, the prices are affordable and the staff are pleasant. My experience is that they usually open at 10:15am or so. And they only take cash. If you plan for that, you will have a great haircut.

Every single barber, except for the owner, at this establishment is TERRIBLE. They don't know what the difference is between a 0 and 1, & they definitely don't know the difference between a mid fade and a high fade. They have no business calling themselves barbers, and should do the public a service and retire.

I really don't understand why it's so hard for some of these barbers to know how to fade out a line. It's impossible for them. The only person that knows how to really cut hair and it's perfect every time is the owner. She's the only one that can really actually cut, make a fade and the like. The rest of these barbers need a lot more practice or they're just being lazy and trying to get in the next paying customer. I'll come back one more time, if they mess up my haircut once again, I won't come back. To the owner, please have more oversight over these other barbers.

Just moved to simi like a year ago. Like 5 years  ago my daughters were playing a softball tournament and I saw this place. I always cut my hair with the same fur in sylmar since forever. I really needed a haircut cut so went there. I was surprised by their skills very young barbers but with skills.  My son was going to summer school at Royal and I found this shop on my way there been going ever since. Best price for a good cut.
