I knew this was going to be a positive experience as soon as I scored a parking spot right outside of the door. I parked the car, walked inside and took a seat on a very comfortable leather couch while I waited for my turn. Jordan was finishing a haircut and I watched the hair transform he was doing on his customer. When he was finished, I then took a seat in his chair. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and he surpassed expectations.
This is by far my favorite barbershop in Pittsburgh after moving up north I tried 5-6 different places that were close to my house. After several not so great cuts I found Kane at 10th Ward who came recommended. Man am I happy I found these guys. All the barbers are professional and the vibe is good at the shop. I always feel amazing when I leave this place.
Snagged an afternoon appointment near closing online. Place had a pretty nice vibe to it. I explained what I wanted and he went to work. The barber mostly kept me facing away from the mirror which I thought was odd. When he was done I mostly looked at the front and sides which looked sharp, but i noticed that the back was a fade and not like I had explained. Not sure how that got missed, but it looked off. While 3/4 sides isn't bad, I am not sure if I would return off of that performance.
Just moved to Pittsburgh and needed a new regular spot. Just had my cut with Kim who was fantastic. Attention to detail was brilliant which resulted in well balanced hair cut and great value for the time and effort I received in her chair. Would highly recommend 10th Ward and Kim in particular. The other barbers all looked to really put a lot into their craft also! I won't be going anywhere else.
I got a haircut with Bam. He was ready at the appointment time and very polite. He asked what I wanted and gave me the cut I requested! I love it! The salon is very clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend.
