Spent $78 on a gel pedicure for vacation only to have two toes polish pop completely off within a week! Very frustrating!
I was in last Wednesday Oct. 19th to redo my dip/tip. I usually have Lisa but she was on vacation so another technician did my nails. She didn't have a name tag or anything indicating who she was so I really don't know who she was. Things started out badly when she nicked my skin several times with the little dremel type tool. My skin is quite dry and tender and that didn't help at all. For some reason the dip powder did not go all the way to the base of my nail and I did point this out to her and she just said it will be ok. At the end she used the tool again with a metal tip and nicked my skin again especially my little finger. It is still quite painful and I've had to use abx ointment on it. Davis, you were with another customer when she finished and I didn't want to interrupt you. I did post another review that afternoon but it seems to have disappeared. I am very disappointed because I've always had such a good experience at Zen Nails. Betty Shanks. My appt was at 1:00 p.m. on the 19th
Atmosphere astounding. It felt like was in the suburbs of the finest city anywhere. Aesthetic Decor created a comfort level necessary to sit down and spend time in any salon. Noted the attendees were on a first name, friendly casual basis with the regular clients. As a first time visitor it is good to know how attentive staff are to the customer. Truly liked that my time there was quiet. Agree to this style of low-no chatter as it relaxes the client. A bonus added on top of the product and care we receive as customers. So, able to feel relaxed after my session. Yes, did receive the product requested. Enjoyed the care of staff even though a new customer. Will visit again, commit to regular status client? Well, like your other customers. Need for you to ask my name and call me by name. Simple. Thank you Mae
I'll just say that did not go as planned. This is how I left. I voiced 2 times that it looks like crap. They still charged me 91$ to go celebrate the 4th of July with rediculous looking stars. I work hard and expect to be treated with respect. This experience will not be repeated.
They have a good selection of colors but the pedicurists are mostly a miss. The sugar scrub is watery and they massage you with about the force of a newborn infant. If I wanted to pay $50 for an uneven nail trim and shoddy paint job, I could have gone to Home Depot instead and had a burly employee at least give a half decent foot massage. Waste. Of. Money.

There's no denying that balayage is having a moment. This modern hair coloring technique has taken the beauty world by storm, and it's easy to see why. Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep" or "to paint", and that's exactly what the colorist does.
