WINDOWWALL Salon in Portland, OR

I've been going to Elizabeth (@stylistelozabeth on insta) for all my Portland hair goals ever since I moved here and she is the best. She's always so welcoming, and I love that she discusses pricing before we get started with our appointment! I always found it difficult to find a hair stylist that can lighten my dark brown hair to match the look I'm going for, but Elizabeth is a true specialist and she's amazing- go see her!

I cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth! She listens, understands and makes visions come to life. She's great at explaining her process and is always transparent around pricing. I feel so fortunate to have found a her 5 years ago when I moved back to portland. I have very long thick hair and have had it botched many times, from the first visit i felt comfortable and in good hands.  I simply cannot recommend her enough!

It's always nerve wracking to try a new salon , but Elizabeth was amazing ! Before our appointment she sent me detailed instructions on parking and how to access the salon which eased my anxiety. Elizabeth was really thorough and educated in our consultation and also had wonderful price transparency. She was super sweet and knowledgeable through the color and cut and really made sure we were on the same page with the end result . Elizabeth even checked in with me a few days later to see how I was liking my hair which was really nice!  Overall I had a lovely experience with her and enjoyed her strong communication . The salon is adorable as well. Highly recommend !

I've been going to Windowwall for about 5 years, and I've had 3 stylists. Over the last couple of years, I've had a stylist not show up to work on the day of my appointment (Emily King), tell me she would comp me an Olaplex treatment for the inconvenience, and then not follow through with it. Emily also gave me noticeably crooked bangs once, and she told me they would "straighten out over time" and I had to come back to have it fixed. Then I had Mae, who once came in hung over and seeming pretty unhappy to be there. That time, she cut chunks out of my hair that should have been left in.

It's a beautiful space, and my first stylist there did a good job with my hair. I changed stylists a few times thinking it was me, or them but maybe they had an off day. But I think the salon itself doesn't have good quality control. It's a bummer.

Ive been coming to Windowwall for the last 4 years and I realized it's probably time that I wrote a well deserved review! The stylists at this salon are receptive, friendly and most importantly they are extremely talented. The atmosphere at Windowall is fabulous-- it is always tidy, has gorgeous art deco light fixtures, and is beaming with warm natural light.

I've been seeing Emily here for years and she has always given me incredible cuts and color. Her blowouts are unlike any I've had from another stylist. After visiting Emily I get compliments on my hair for months, she really helps boost a clients self esteem and knows how to create the perfect look for her clients. If you let her do her own thing she will make you into a goddess!

I also recently visited one of their newest stylists there, Indigo. I showed her photos of the cut I wanted and even described the types of hairstyles Id like to do and Indigo went above and beyond to not only create the hairstyle I desired, but to customize it to my face shape and involved my opinion every step of the way. I was elated by the results. I'm so glad I found another fabulous stylist here! Thank you Windowwall for being so consistent and to all of the stylists who really are masters of their craft.
