I just love this gem of a salon in the Mission. The atmosphere is both vibrant and calming. Priscilla is a magician with color and cut, and her kind, cool vibe makes each visit a joy. The salon itself is a stylish sanctuary. For a fabulous and uplifting hair experience, look no further!
I went to Erika yesterday to have my hair professionally dyed for the first time. She was great at talking through options with me and the end result looked just how I wanted. But I think what makes this a 5 star experience is the environment of the salon. Erika was super friendly and we had a lovely conversation for almost 2 hours. Plus she had a ton of tasty drink and snack options to keep me satiated.
Both Erika and Priscilla have been doing my hair for almost 10 years. They put up with my ridiculous requests at times and make the impossible happen. And if they think my ideas are too crazy, they will give it to me straight. They are my hair wizards! I love them both dearly and have never been disappointed.
I went to see Erika as a referral. My friend has such beautiful hair and she told me Erika had been doing it for years. I had partial highlights, toner and a cut so I was there for several hours. The time flew by though because Erika was super personable and fun to chat with. She made me feel like an old friend even though we just met. The salon itself was super beautiful and I loved the music that she and Priscilla (her shop partner) were playing. To make the afternoon feel even more cozy, Erika offered me drinks and snacks while I was processing. All in all I enjoyed the whole experience and loved how my hair turned out and will be back. Find a good hair stylist can be so hard, but I'm glad I found this place. Moral of the story, if you like your homegirl's hair you better ask her about it and hope she spills the tea on the good shop.
Erika did my hair! She did a balayage with a haircut for me. She does a great job and takes her time. Also, the studio is very clean and follows COVID-19 protocols. I would recommend for anyone that is trying to get their hair done with style!
