Wet Kutz Plus in Smyrna, TN

I absolutely LOVE Kathy. What a woman! Incredible stylist and an inspirational lady. I haven't had my hair cut in three years properly because of some bad prior experiences, but I found Wet Kutz on Yelp with high reviews for Kathy and they couldn't have been more spot on. Kathy's shop is lovely with options of drinks, snacks and games for kids. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend

Kathy has been cutting my hair for years. I was devastated when I walked into the salon she worked at previously and was told she had left. I had now ideas she was opening her own place and was going longer amounts of time before hair cuts because no one could do it like her. I heard there was a new place opening and can't tell you how happy I was when I found out that Kathy was the owner. She has always been friendly and professional and I will never go anywhere else.

Have you ever had a stylist feel like family? Kathy accommodates our family by moving around appointments to get us in together, listens to what we ask for, seems genuinely interested in us beyond our hair. My Nana was sooo happy after her haircut, she stayed that she was "too good to talk to us anymore!" Talk about feeling sassy!

Today I came in to get my hair cut and dyed after scheduling an appointment a few days earlier. This is the first time EVER getting my hair dyed, so naturally I was nervous/excited of the turnout. Kathy, who I am assuming is the owner, was so nice and welcoming to me and every other customer that walked in the door over the course of the 2 hours I was there. Everyone who came in she seemed to know by name, and talked and laughed with them as if they were family. Kathy flipped through the book with me to help pick my color and gave me her honest opinions. Jordan, who did the dye and style, was so kind and truly cared about the outcome of my hair. She wasn't in a rush to finish and made sure that I left happy.
There are not enough words to express how happy I am with the turnout of my hair. I will definitely be returning. I can't recommend this place enough.

Unprofessional. As it was my first time being there, I felt It was very interesting how both Sheba, and Kathy kept talking about how much they drank, and partied the night before. MOST importantly, a TERRIBLE hair cut from Sheba, (maybe hungover). I almost thought it was her first day cutting hair. She seemed nervous, made me nervous. It wasn't a good experience at all. Maybe it's better for kids, and dudes. Not women. Another horrible situation was both her, and Kathy trashed talked my normal hair dresser. :(. Tacky, and overall the hair cut was terrible.
