The receptionist is hopeless, will put you on hold for many times while you're trying to book a simple service. Prices are shooting through the roof while being in a shack; water will jump up to burn your scalp while you get your hair washed. The manager is the rudest person I have ever met and will make you feel like you're intruding on him after paying 500 bucks. The owner will make sure to make you never come back and no apologies for the back experiences whatsoever.

The best blow out and lashes in the Hamptons. The energy is so positive and the blow outs last for says. It's more than a blow out, everyone wants to hang out there. And the best Brazilian bikini wax. Xx

Went to the Bridgehampton salon for bikini wax assuming that it would be at the same caliber as the salons in New York City-- obviously a foolish assumption. Was taken into a tent outside, just one curtain from the waiting area outside for a very private cosmetic procedure. The area was unprofessional for waxing and felt unclean and thrown together. The wax itself was also awful. Because of the intense heat outside, the wax couldn't dry on the skin and ended up being extremely painful to remove. The woman doing the procedure, though luckily really kind and understanding, seemed to have very little experience waxing. I stopped the procedure halfway because it was so painful, poorly done and utterly uncomfortable--and was still asked to pay $80 for the service!! Would never go back again.

I stepped into the Valery Joseph salon in Bridgehampton to ask about getting a very quick, dry trim (or a "dusting" as some stylists call it). No wash, no blow dry, just a dry trim that takes about 4-5 minutes. I've done this at some very high end salons in Manhattan and Long Island (because my hair is all one length and very easy to trim) and am typically asked to pay about $35, sometimes up to $50. At Valery Joseph in Bridgehampton, a stylist said he could take me right away, sat me in the chair and completed the dusting. A woman who then claimed she was the owner charged me $260 -- the price of a full haircut and blow-dry and told me there was absolutely nothing she could do to give me a lower price for the lower tier of service I had. I thought this was completely abominable and the owner should be ashamed of herself for trying to completely rip people off. I'd like to get the word out about this salon so that other potential customers are warned.
