I had dip nails and gel pedicure, the person who did my pedicure did a great job but the person who did my dip manicure did a terrible job. It's unfortunate because she was really nice and I honestly felt bad even saying anything, and when I did mention that my nails were very thick for my liking she made some weird excuse about my nail-bed being curved and having to cover my entire nail. On top of that, all of my cuticles are in pain because she used a drill on my cuticles and made at least 3 of them bleed so they're all cut up. She also made a weird comment about my skin being dry to justify the bleeding and cut up cuticles...um, I've had my nails done many times and have never had this issue. I think she rushed the entire manicure as well despite there being only 2 other clients in the whole nail salon, as I had my pedicure done by someone else the other lady worked on my manicure which didn't feel like I was being pampered at all. For $150 which included tip, I expected a lot more. I really wish I had asked for a refund on my manicure.

Made an appointment for 1:30 as a surprise for a birthday gift for my Mom. Called ahead when we were running late to change it, they accommodated and sounded like it was not a problem. Upon arriving, we were told to pick a color. 20 minutes after our then appointment time had yet to have service started or to be acknowledged again, at that point we walked out.
I acknowledge that I was the one who initially ran late and changed the appointment but if you can't accommodate me please don't reschedule me. Some acknowledgement could have helped. "We'll be with you in 10 minutes, sorry we're running late" , would have been appropriate .
