Ulta Beauty in Suffolk, VA

I have to agree with the other negative reviews. I've shopped at this location a handful of times through the years & have been an Ulta rewards member for a long time. I usually just do quick in & out trips (I know exactly what I need). Most recently I went to return an item that I just purchased 2 days before. The item was unopened and unused. The sales associates had such an attitude and felt the need to interrogate me about a simple return. I politely said never mind, I won't be shopping here any more. I wish I paid attention to her name. It was an older lady white dyed black hair.

i am a mixed women who had a horrible experience here because of my beautiful skin tone and my ethnic background. i was scrolling through the store simply looking for spray tanning for the holidays and no one would greet me but rather stare at me as if i was going to steal something. i also was trying to use my rewards and they would lie to me and tell the gifts to redeem for my rewards was not available at the moment. 0/10 would not recommend. these people look at you from a racial standpoint and NOT as a PAYING customer . and Michelle the cashier, and the manager, she looked like a karen to me are the main problems their so until they leave i wont be shopping their. karma is crazy .

Today, I was accused of shoplifting after bring in the store for less than 1 minute. The sales person that approached me asked me if I needed help and I responded "no thank you, I'm just looking for my daughter who's in here shopping." She follows up with; "do you want me to get a basket for whatever you put in your purse?" I looked at her in shocked and follow up with "I don't have anything in my purse, but my keys (as I show her the inside of purse). I located my daughter about a minute later and shouted to her "Let's go because this lady thinks I'm shoplifting!!!" I made a seen and said a few colorful words to the lady and her co-work (whom she was telling what she had just did/said to me) before leaving before I hurt one of them. Do better and training your staff not to accuse people of shoplifting without checking your store camera first!

Very unsatisfied due to the store being closed "due to large inventory". Very inconvenient. Especially when driving long distance not knowing they would randomly be closed.

Went to this store on a Wednesday. Asked an associate for help who clearly indicated she didn't want to. Told me "I'll be back to help you 1 second" & went to the back & never came out to help me. Only 1 associate was friendly. The rest looked so miserable. If you hate your job PLEASE do everyone a favor and clock out/quit!!!! I will not be coming back to this ulta. I'd rather buy online then have this place ruin my mood.
