This place is like a nail factory. Very little care for the customers and a debilitating language barrier. I only tried explaining how I'd like my nails shaped and the technician became annoyed with me. I got what she wanted to do, which was not even close to what I wanted.
five stars for being literally the only place in town. if someone knows an organic nail salon w Zoya polish this side of Poughkeepsie please let me know. i saw Kiefer Sutherland getting his nails done before a big show w his band in Kingston and literally burst out laughing but he was polite. the decor is classic nail salon bizzaro ville, which i love. no offers for additional massage. also, super weird style of choosing nail color from these dozens of unbranded boxlike frames with random fake painted nails in them. people watching is however A+ and staff are nice and friendly.
Worst pedicure ever!! I had to go guy nail polish remover to get the polish off my skin!! Absolutely Horrible!
Went here to get my wedding ANC/Pedi. Everything seemed fine and they looked good but I thought it was odd they used clear gel that had to be cured on top of ANC instead of the usual stuff. Low an behold while out of town for wedding 3 days later and day before, the gel top started peeling off. Luckily the place I got my hair done the morning of also did nails so she did another quick top coat for me. Gel does not stick to ANC. Why did they do this?
The ambiance is great and it's quite clean and professional in appearance. However, I left very dissatisfied. There was a black bubble in my mail that had to be redone, as well as a chip in my nail after it was filed and completed. I had to get that chip redone after I already left and paid. There is gel residue all over the perimeter of my fingers where my nails were done and my cuticles look dry and uneven. Side note, a debit/credit card charge is $4 for the transaction, so bring cash if you would like to avoid an additional fee. Overall, I probably should have waiting to go to my regular place as opposed to going here. I got a very simple gel polish with just one color, this could have been done better for less elsewhere and i HAVE had it done better else where.
