They've moved locations but I followed my hair stylist. They are always on time with appointments and do an amazing job. It is so nice to pay a little more and get a great haircut every single time!
Mitchell did a great job on my color, I also had a haircut that is amazing (not sure name of stylist) I've received many compliments. Was a great experience friendly and professional Only bummer is I live in another state, otherwise I'd be a regular client.
My boyfriend set up a surprise hair appt as a Valentine's Day gift. He told them he wanted me to get my hair done, but when I got in the chair, they'd only set me up with someone to cut it. She wasn't authorized to color yet, so she asked if one of the colorists could work me in, and both had decided that they were leaving early since their books were clear. Kind of upsetting as a client to have them in the salon and walk out when they could of had another paying customer. I got a nice cut, but felt only half done and underwhelmed when you think you're getting your hair done. No one told him or asked him when he made the appt that only certain people do certain things. Highly disappointed.
I stopped in after a pedicure because it was close, I had time, and I wanted a trim. I walked in, no appointment. The person at the cash register was trying to figure something out, so it took her a minute to acknowledge I had come in. I said I didn't have an appointment and asked to get a trim...fortunately she had someone who could get me in, no wait! YAY FOR ME! I showed her I checked in on Yelp and asked to use the conditioner treatment. She said show at checkout and they would take care of it. Belinda came to get me and took me to her chair. We talked about my hair and a trim. She showed my ends (ewe!) and talked about some light layers and frame the face. I said let's do it! Went to the bowl and washed. Something smelled yummy and she mentioned the conditioner. We chatted on all kinds of topics while she trimmed my hair. She dried and curled my hair a little (loose waves). End result was great! There's something about a fresh cut that makes you feel all better...physically and emotionally! At check out, there were two different people at the register. I will say I had a little sticker shock for a trim...but I hadn't been for a haircut in at least six months. So whatever. What I didn't like was when I showed my check in they seemed a little shocked by it and then said they would just put it on my account to show I had that done. It showed on a receipt that it was $5. So either that is wrong or the check in coupon saying it was a $15 value is wrong...either way I'm a tad skeptical about it and what I did or did not get for what I paid. I felt they tried to keep a clean and sanitized space. Not many people were there when I was there. I did find it odd that while my hair was being washed a stylist had her client sit next to me to wash her hair. Even with the plexiglass between us, water was still splashing over some. I liked Belinda and my haircut. The service at the counter I wasn't as impressed with and still wonder a little about my service and my Yelp check in offer being used/honored. For the counter service arriving and leaving...that's where I give 4 stars instead of 5.
Tried to come back for haircut and color. I get called and told that my stylist wasn't there anymore and I had to reschedule, so I did. Got called a day later. Told I couldn't get my hair colored and so they canceled me again. I was pretty disappointed because I had an event to go to. They called me back again, third time. And this time they redeemed themselves by giving me a complimentary service. Thank you TnG. I love how my hair is styled and colored by Mitchell and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
