Tint in Portland, OR

I ventured outside my safe and predictable bubble this week to try something new. I used the "Talk" feature on the Yelp app to get a recommendation for a new stylist. I've been seeing the same hair colorist for over 10 years, so finding someone new to manage my hair coloring needs filled me with anxiety. Thank you Sarah C. recommending Tint in the Hollywood neighborhood.

I was immediately greeted with warmth and professionalism by my stylist, Barri. She is perfectly lovely, and made me feel safe and comfortable. She looked at photos of my favorite hairstyles in the past, offered some recommendations, then immediately set to work.

Barri worked quickly, yet remained conversational and pleasant the entire time. We had a great conversation while my hair was in the foils and the color set. I am really pleased with how natural the highlights look.

I would like to thank Barri for her remarkable craftsmanship, and welcome her as a newcomer to Portland. She is a fantastic stylist and great communicator, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist. I felt heard and understood throughout the entire process, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Denny and his crew are great.  I've been getting my beard and mohawk dyed neon pink for a couple of years now and he always does an excellent job. I can't recommend this salon more highly.  I always admire the other customers.  Friendly group and very talented.  Can't recommend this salon highly enough.

I am so happy I found Tint!! Yesterday I had a facial with Sara (Remedy) and today a massage with Shannon. The best facial of my life and the best massage of my life! OF MY LIFE! It's a darling spot in a great location. Prices are reasonable and I am telling you, you will not be disappointed!!

I was at Tint a few weeks back and Zack took my hair from redbrown (henna-dyed) to beige blond. It was a big change, that took some time, and I love it. Thank you!

I went here for a brow service with their wonderful esthetician, Sara Dyer. I have dark hair but some of my brow hairs are very blonde and look spars, and doing my makeup takes so much longer. I wanted to try a brow tint service to see if it'd make a difference. My only other experience with tinting was a lash lift and tint gone wrong at another salon, so I initially felt nervous going into this. Thankfully, Sara is so kind and warm and made me feel incredibly at ease! The aesthetic of her studio alone made it feel calm. Sara asked me lots of questions to make sure that she tailored my brows to my liking, explained every step of the process so that I knew what was happening, and even offered to help clean up the little stray eyebrow hairs so that my brows looked their best. I was so grateful for that!!

One thing to note is that Tint's website lists an eyebrow tint for $15 when Sara's actual price is $25. I totally didn't mind paying that at all, but it is a ten dollar difference. For the most accurate display of services and prices, I'd click the link to Sara's website on Tint's esthetic section. No biggie for me, but for those who do mind, it should be updated.

Anyway, I loved my results and Sara's services. I will absolutely be back!!! :)
