Timber Salon in Trenton, MI

My Gigi loves getting her nails done by Naomi! Everyone is so friendly and welcomes me along with her. Gigi highly recommends! Grandma Jackie says Timber's is best salon this side of town.

I was very unimpressed with my hair experience with Timber. I booked 4 hair appointments for my wedding. Upon booking, Timber assured me that she will do my hair right the first time, so a trial was not necessary. Two weeks ago, my brial party and I arrived for our appointments. I came with photos of exactly what I wanted. Whilst Timber was doing my hair, she continually reassured me that, "We will get your hair perfect!" When I viewed my hair, it was not to my satisfaction. Timber adjusted the front slightly. I explained what I would like done to the back, and Timber became extremely rude. She refused to make any additional adjustments and told me my time was up and I had too much hair. My sister was next to get an updo. This hair style took approximately 15 minutes and cost $75!!!!! Timber then spent the remaining 45 minutes sitting at the front rather than attempting to fix my hairstyle to my liking. After spending $300 in Timber's salon, and being spoken to rudely when I merely requested adjustments was appalling. The additional bridemaids had similar experiences with other members of staff when adjustments were requested. If you are not confident in offering updos for patrons with long hair or spending the allotted time to assure customer satisfaction, it is advisable in the future to make that known. My wedding day went seemlessly thanks to my family and friends; however, I needed to write this review to express how deeply upset Timber's Salon made myself and my bridal party. There is never an excuse to be talked to or treated rudely when simple requests are made, especially for paying customers.
