I went to the wax factory this week for a lip wax. After the wax I had a fat lip and now (2 days later) I have 2 cold sores. Makes one question their cleanliness. I do not recommend this place at all.

Honestly? One of the worst waxing experiences I've ever had. I normally go to EWC, I figured I'd try this place. The woman who gave me my Brazilian wax was not very friendly from the beginning. She didn't talk me to the whole time during my wax. She didn't countdown or have me breathe deep before pulling etc. I also had MULTIPLE patches of hair left behind. At EWC they go back with the tweezers to clean up, she didn't bother checking for patches let alone tweeze. ALSO the way she tugged the cloth was extremely painful. It was like she held only the corner of it, it yanked painfully as the cloth got taught, and THEN the wax part was pulled. I have NEVER in my life had so many ingrown hairs AND broken hairs from a Brazilian. Very VERY unsatisfied. (And yes, I exfoliate and do the prep work.)
By FAR this was the most painful healing from a Brazilian I have ever had. Pay the extra 10$ and go to EWC (they use hard wax so it's a lot less painful.)

Love this salon. We were able to get a same day appointment for two of us. The lady at the front desk was so nice and the brow tech (so sorry don't recall her name) was super friendly and did a perfect job waxing our brows! Plus they were playing 2000's hip hop....BONUS!

My daughter and I had our brows waxed today and we were in and out in a flash. We were both pleased at how well our brows looked afterwards and the staff did a wonderful job following COVID protocols. This was the first time my daughter had a waxing and she reported it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be and will be back to maintain the shape and appearance of her brows. I would highly recommend The Wax Factory for a first timer as they take great care in making the experience as painless as possible. I will definitely be back!
